My name is Izabela, welcome to my channel.
In videos here, I teach the many trade tricks and secrets I've learned in my life time journey with clay. Do you like watching pottery making process and inspirational ideas, bonsai life style and interviews with interesting people? If yes, you will feel at home here.
What started as a small fun project, now became one of my favourite things. I design, film and edit the videos myself. Some videos take me a year to complete due to the long process of working with clay.
At Gaean Gardens we cultivate life experiences that are enriching and beneficial to our planet and all of her sentient beings.
Thank you so much for your support!

Wow, very exciting Izabela!!!
Yes!
Thats nigels dragon pot
Is that Nigel Saunders dragon pot??❤❤
you got it!
Uh-oh… Heron vs. Dragon… is that pottery or kung-fu? 😅
Stefano, too funny! Martial arts contest lol
So soothing watching your creativity come to life! The heron is beautiful! Maybe clouds could work in the blank space at the top.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, Dante' Clouds would be nice!
A great Blue Heron!!!
🤣🤣🤣 nice one, Nigel! Thank you!
I would have had no clue what to create. The blooms seem to inspire you!
Perhaps something would come to you? A mystery, until you try ;)
Beautiful place to make beautiful things!!!
I always wanted to do it and this is my first time!

Really nice!!!
Thank you, Nigel!
You are the expert!
wow. Great!!!!Beutiful garden
Thank you!!!
Sun-dried clay?
Cool honeysuckle. You should take a cutting and work with Nigel to make a Bonsai tree. Or a thimble bonsai tree.
Super cool flowers in bloom.
Does that clay a sun-dried clay? That would be cool to make small koi or goldfish and then paint them for putting in a mini pond in a fairy garden setting pot. I bet you could do it
@growclipbonsaiforseniors1951 it's a stoneware clay that I always work with. Coi fish would be great, I was thinking of making a paperweight with coi fish :)
Foist!!!!
They are all really nice!!!
Thank you, Nigel! Finally firing will be coming, this is next weekend
You are a true artist, Izabela. Excellent!!!!!
Thank you, Tom!
Cool little bonsai tree. Nice shaded area you have.
Thank you for your support, Tom!
Foist!!!
Nigel is an awesome human! I know it's hard work to make KZread! Thanks for sharing with us.
Nigel's cool
What fun!!!
Really great discussion it’s truly amazing how something as simple as a plant in a pot can bring so many people together and bring so much joy and happiness
It takes a specific individual to be attracted to bonsai, it's a forge of character, as Nigel said: bonsai trains us. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
New to your channel love finding new bonsai channels to watch
Welcome! I'm glad you're enjoying the content
Must be surreal to see the video of pots being crafted, and then they show up at your doorstep. Does this mean the Dragon has finally learned patience? 😋
Yes, it was so surreal I made into a video! The dragon is still training but will be graduating soon 😉
I'd say anyone who can successfully make multiple pots, is a Potter. I don't think you'd need to sell them for that classification. Similarly, if I weld a bunch of things for myself, I'd still be a welder.
I agree with this, it's not about making pottery as a profession but professionally made pots make a person a potter
Oh my goodness.... Just need a little firing Haha!
Yes, in a tiny little kiln lol
he sure is a potter......i only make miniatures (1:12)and it is hard to get the details right...will love to see the final result
You make miniatures? I never tried it, it seems very difficult to me! Do you have a store or page with your pots?
Our resident Renaissance man makes a cameo. Awesome collection of miniature pots. Thanks, keep molding 😊
He sure is versatile in talents! Thank you, Matt
@@gaeangardensbyizabela As are you
..... awesome video, thanks for sharing! Cheers!
You're very welcome!
Fantastic! Thanks for this pot summary! I watched the all get made - but this is a great recap!
It was cool to see them all at once, thank you, Jay!
These pots are great! Thank you for sharing! I love how excited you both are! Carving is so fun! Nice mame pots, Nigel! Cheers from Finland!
Carving, that's the word I was missing lol, I kept calling it chiseling. Finland, wow!
yes he most definitely is a potter...lol... the attention to detail in such little pots, man has bonsai really honed his patience for sure and it shows in his little pots...lol i love them all!! thank you for sharing izabela!
You're very welcome, I was so impressed with what Nigel did, it had to be shared, such natural talent and his patience is tremendous
I'm only a little concerned about shrinkage. -Kale
No kidding, I hope they won't get lost in my giant kiln 🔍
This is so wholesome and love the collaboration with Nigel! You are both such nice and inspirational person. Cheers from Sweden. 😄
Glad you enjoyed, cheers to you as well! Sweden and I seem to be crossing paths. Perhaps I'll be visiting at some point 🇸🇪
Thanks so much Izabela!!!!
You're very welcome, Nigel!
I was in awe, I love these.
Looking forward to seeing them fired!
Me too!
Małe jest piękne 🪹
Prześliczne 🪹
This will make a nice series for you and Nigel. Firing, glazing, etc. So cool. Have you ever done mini's, Izabela? I bet you could sell them and make some money. These little pots for mini bonsai trees are something to see, especially some of the unique designs on them.
I've done few but I didn't feel drawn to it, Tom. Have you tried?
@@gaeangardensbyizabela I never tried. I just buy the pot. Easier for me at my age. I am not that good at pot making or making models. That is why I enjoy watching others make them.
Nice visit from Nigel with his cool little pots. I always liked these miniature pots of his as well as the mini's from Mrs. Ohno. Handmade pots are the coolest.
Just beautiful, I really love these! Do you sell similar sized pots?
They are so special. Mine are much bigger, feel free to check my etsy store, link under my channel description
Yes, that is why I asked. 😉 I didn't find what I need, but like your style!
@bartstellink307 thank you for checking and I hope you'll find what you need soon!
Should I check more often? I would buy them... 😉
@@bartstellink307 I am not as good as NIgel at making tiny pots, but I would like to help you. If you'd like, I can make a commission order for you. Email me at [email protected] and we can talk specifics of what you'd like. I can then do it via my etsy store. I'm about to work with clay again after almost of a year break so I can try tiny pots for you
Maybe ppl will start to understand mame is not just a small bonsai but a tiny pot to fit it
lol that is hilarious
big improvements in production and presentation
Thank you, it was the quickest and simplest i ever did so it's good to hear
Excellent tutorial, Izabela! You are a great teacher for students.
Thank you, Tom! Glad you enjoyed it
Foist and to like
What a nice creative project!! Thanks Izabela!!
You're welcome Nigel, are you going to make some for the home? I have 4 of these and love them
👍 parfait
thank you! 😊
Cool thanks. subed. Just got my first Rain tree . I watch Nigel to love his videos.
great work! i hope u can make a video on the process of firing it.
Haha The birdies remind me of a large group of sparrows that jump in and out of the brush pile in front of my aunt's house in Iowa. Last time I was there watching them, and a large hawk swooped down to grab one...Upon missing, the claws came a meter from my face as it did a quick u-turn. I actually felt the wind from it's wings. A magical experience that was!!!
Oh that's so cool, what bold move on the hawk's part! I guess it didn't care for your presence at all. That's too funny bc I cut out some of the footage, but what's actually happening is they live in the privet and just jump out of it when I come out to the bigger bush. And the hawk comes here a lot too, I saw it many times charging right at the privet and taking them when they least expect, but never 1 meter from my face lol
