He ain't lying. IMO most golfers swing to 'fast / hard' slow down the swing the body complies a little more than if you go all out.

This is so true. As soon as I stopped trying to swing like Rory and Tiger, and started swinging like Rahm I got so much more control over the ball. I just don’t have the mobility to have a pretty golf swing.

Casual golf it’s where it’s at. Unlimited mulligans 😂 Ill never be pro so why stress just chug a beer and grip it and rip it. And it’s always a plus to start since you were little as oppose to in your mid 20’s

As much as I respect and love Scottie golf game. I happen to disagree with him 100%. The golf swing should be complimentary to each person individually, and many players have made living this way.

After teaching for years, I can tell you he is correct. Don't assume he's being arrogant just because he's the top golfer in the world, there is a lot of truth to what he's saying. (Read the comment from the physical therapist working with the senior golfer). Additionally, most amateurs won't spend the hours or hit the number of golf balls needed to get even close to the time a tour pro puts in. Your chances of getting hit by lightning are better😂

He's right but also not really. Tour pro's aren't insanely flexible or able to generate power in ways other people couldn't. They just have movement patterns ingrained that absolutely don't make sense to your average amateur. The amount of hip turn and lagging of the arms they do are just motions that don't come naturally to most people. That's also only the full swing, which is about half of the game on this level. Their skill 100 yards in, from bunkers, around the green and on the green is just on another level compared to amateurs, even scratch players.

@@Dah_J Sure thing pal you know🤣 To create speed in golf number one thing is mobility, how far you can coil up. Muscles wont help before that ability, im fact it may slow down yoir swing. Plenty of golfers never seen a weight room in their life swinging like crazy. Again your vague words like explosivness and coordination they all come after you are mobile enough. You have no clue.
