He ain't lying. IMO most golfers swing to 'fast / hard' slow down the swing the body complies a little more than if you go all out.
That’s coordination though??
This is so true. As soon as I stopped trying to swing like Rory and Tiger, and started swinging like Rahm I got so much more control over the ball. I just don’t have the mobility to have a pretty golf swing.
That’s aaron baddelu
Casual golf it’s where it’s at. Unlimited mulligans 😂 Ill never be pro so why stress just chug a beer and grip it and rip it. And it’s always a plus to start since you were little as oppose to in your mid 20’s
Thanks for the pep talk Scottie
As much as I respect and love Scottie golf game. I happen to disagree with him 100%. The golf swing should be complimentary to each person individually, and many players have made living this way.
After teaching for years, I can tell you he is correct. Don't assume he's being arrogant just because he's the top golfer in the world, there is a lot of truth to what he's saying. (Read the comment from the physical therapist working with the senior golfer). Additionally, most amateurs won't spend the hours or hit the number of golf balls needed to get even close to the time a tour pro puts in. Your chances of getting hit by lightning are better😂
Just copy Scottys' footwork, and you'll be fine.
Facts. I'd have to snap my spine to get as much twist in my backswing as Rory.
Tell John daily that bruh. Guy has 3 types of diabetes
🎉
Lifestyle!!! Yes
@@Gday85 absolutely!
Wow what a genius hillbilly.
100% im only 27 and i have a hard time flexing correctly. If i miss the ball i pull 3 muscles lol. I also move about 4 tons of wood by hand on a daily basis with a terminal lung dusease so, you know, might play a part.
That is 100% correct 👍🏼
“All you fat unmoving sons a mothers can’t wiggle like me”
Where ia the vidoe for how our body os supposed to move
My body can perform the swing just fine. My brain on the other hand....
this is not correct, the swing can change
It’s nice to be a former baseball player and have the swing motion already down makes golf easy😂😂
Aaron Baddeley
I’m weak side of neutral
Superb
In other words: Don’t be FAT and you can play golf well
Look who’s talking
He's right but also not really. Tour pro's aren't insanely flexible or able to generate power in ways other people couldn't. They just have movement patterns ingrained that absolutely don't make sense to your average amateur. The amount of hip turn and lagging of the arms they do are just motions that don't come naturally to most people. That's also only the full swing, which is about half of the game on this level. Their skill 100 yards in, from bunkers, around the green and on the green is just on another level compared to amateurs, even scratch players.
Explain to me John Daly and Craig Parry etc then 😅
Come on man. You just s@@@ on your fans. Some of us can bust it but have to work for a living. Not all of us were born with a country club membership and a silver spoon. We struggle with our swing because we can't afford to. FO.
Agree. I can try all day to hit a baseball out of Fenway. It's not going to happen despite all my hard work.
What he’s saying is that people need to focus less on their swing and more on their raw ability as an athlete. Strength, mobility, explosiveness, coordination, etc
Nah just mobility. That's main thing.
@@outlander234 tell me you know nothing about how the human body works without telling me
@@Dah_J Sure thing pal you know🤣 To create speed in golf number one thing is mobility, how far you can coil up. Muscles wont help before that ability, im fact it may slow down yoir swing. Plenty of golfers never seen a weight room in their life swinging like crazy. Again your vague words like explosivness and coordination they all come after you are mobile enough. You have no clue.
@@outlander234 when did I say the size of your muscles will make you have a better golf swing?
That would be me! @60!
I’m a tower crane operator, I sit all day everyday l hunched over looking down. My body physically does not move the way it’s suppose to that’s for sure 🥲
I have this issue. My body can’t physically do what it needs to sometimes.
Man! I absolutely love the message in the description! Thank you, and Praise God for instilling in your hearts the motivation you have to share Christ! He is supposed to be in everything we do, even our hobbies and past-times! Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!
Amen! We are so glad you were encouraged by the description. Be sure to check out some of our other videos and our newly launched podcast to hear other athletes sharing their faith! Blessings!
He is correct and age makes it worse.
I think he means mobility wise not genetics wise
Amen to that! 🙏

JD?
what was his lifestyle when 25?.
Knowing we serve a Holy savior I’m sure the qualities he upheld in scripture are the same at 25
@@Gday85 Didnt Lucifer serve the holy scripture too?
"And just hit balls." 😂😂😂
So that’s why I suck at golf. I’m fat. Got it

Jim has a wonky take away but has a great body and shallows wonderfully in transition.
😅
tl;dr. you don't suck, but you do suck at golf.
