Great question. The iPhone will only pull what power it needs from the charger, and depending on your cable used, you may be able to fast charge it. There's no risk of damaging or overcharging the phone provided it's a reputable charger. If it's an Apple branded MacBook Pro charger it'll be fine. Please Subscribe if I helped you 😁

What if you don't own a kidnle e-reader?
So my kindle is frozen( I think) it shows only the battery sign and when I plug it in the LED lamp goes for ca 10 seconds on and then goes off idk if it works....can someone help me?
Hi Shayla, I assume you did both resets and the issue persists. Can you try a different cable and charger? Alternatively use different cable and connect to laptop/PC. Also, have you done the resets while the device is charging? If not, give it a try as well.
@@howtodostuff. I already tried 4 chargers but nothing seems to work I always try to reset it but the only thing my Kindle tells me „ low battery. Charger your kindle before you use it." Is there any other way you can bring it back to life..?
@@shayla9372 as the light goes off after few seconds I think it's a charging issue. Can you try to see if moving the USB port within the port makes the light come back? If not, I'm afraid it may be a hardware issue

@@shayla9372 I'm nos true Shayla. If the battery icon comes up and the battery light stop after some seconds...sounds to me hardware issue; either battery or the connection.
Once it hits 80 percent it’s gonna be a lot slower to get to 100.

Ok, "I have 3 books downloaded in epub" is a non-starter. HOW DID YOU GET THOSE FILES OFF THE NOOK OR ANDROID?
This worked for me. June 28, 2024. Note: I tried many times with the Kindle App on my Windows11 desktop, to no avail. I learned that you MUST own a Kindle e-reader, connect it to your computer via USB, and connect your Kindle reader to your Amazon account so that you can get the serial number. Once you have the serial number you can follow all the steps in this video and it will work. I know that many people try to make this work via the Kindle App on their desktop and get just as frustrated as I was.
So do I need to buy a physical Kindle in order to obtain a Kindle serial number? Thank you for the help

Easier and useful tips 1 - obtain Calibre Portable and install it to a Dropbox/OneDrive cloud storage folder and you'll have your library and the apl in the cloud 2 - Kindle for PC up to particular versions can download your books locally for you in a format that DeDRM can strip DRM from and convert. 3 - set Calibre to auto convert any book it finds in the Kindle Book library that the Kindle for PC app downloaded 4 - obtain the kfx input plugin to allow for newer kfx file conversion

es this happened to me as well. I reinstalled the plugin a couple of times and restarted but it is still not working. 26 June 2024.
I have a Kindle fire device, I followed all the steps, and it didn't work. I still can't open my kindle book, purchased on Amazon, on Calibre 😞

Hi Laila, sorry to hear. How old is the device? Does anything show on the screen? Is there a light when connecting to a charger?
@@howtodostuff. I just got it a year ago, the light does turn on, and the screen saver still pops up. But beneath it, I can see the kindle rebooting sign under it. Sometimes the saver switches, but the waking up things pops up and it freezes there. It blinks on for like one second and then turns off, but it freezes...
Thanks for clarifying. It sounds like a hardware issue to me. Do you recall any accidental drop to the device(maybe it was in a bag/backpack that got dropped) or any other situation that could cause such damage? I'd recommend contacting Amazon support, not sure where you're based but they may have a grace period available even if the device is slightly outside of the warranty period. Worth a chance I think.

I bought mine back in 2021. I did the soft and hard reset and not turning on. I do get a red light when it's plugged in.
Any sounds from the speakers when holding the power button? Also, can you hear anything when using the cable?

Bro.. I had lost all hope and I was about to search Amazon for a new headphones. Read a lot of comments anxiously about how soft didn't work but hard reset did or neither didn't Mine was charging. But wouldn't turn on. Did soft reset like you said and it is working. Thank you so much ❤

Unfortunately this doesn't work if your Kindle device is a PC. The Amazon account doesn't show any serial number. Worth a try but DRM really pisses me off!
Check out the help menu in the DeDRM plugin. It says 'Configuration On Windows and Mac, the keys for ebooks downloaded for Kindle for Mac/PC and Adobe Digital Editions are automatically generated. If all your DRMed ebooks can be opened and read in Kindle for Mac/PC and/or Adobe Digital Editions on the same computer on which you are running calibre, you do not need to do any configuration of this plugin.'
