How to downgrade the Kindle Paperwhite 5 11th Gen ? When I do hard reset the newest version 5.14.2 still preserves... I want to wipe this newest firmware to install previous 5.14.1 version. How to do it?

@@livelaughlovecook324 no, I’m sorry I did not figure it out. In fact I just threw the device away a week ago. The battery would not stay charged either.

My 11th Gen PW was crashed by a book! I know it was that book because each time I opened it, after a few page turns, the Kindle would restart, I thought it would settle down. I tried deleting and redownloading the book and was about to give up when the Kindle crashed again but this time booted only as far as the splash screen with the boy and tree logo The 40 second press would turn the screen white a couple of times but still returned to the boy and tree logo. I can't access the hard drive using my PC either, it doesn't appear. I know it was the book because when I tried it on my older Kindle it rebooted, though not fatally so I quickly uninstalled it. (In case you want to know, the book was the MacArthur NKJV Study Bible which actually works fine on the Kindle app on my tablet but I haven't quite forgiven it for trashing my 11Gen PW

I just ordered and tried to do the hard rest multiple times it just stays on the kindle screen with the tree and spins and spins over and over it will not restart
