  I hope your pupper heals well and both of you won't be permanently traumatised. You are an amazing mum. As for the other dog. It's the owner, it's their job to ensure that their dog is okay to take be taken outside and that they listen to the commands. Not teaching your dogs and by that showing the dog that you lead is neglect!! And people are not ready to admit it and most never will. That's why certain dog breeds aka pit bulls in this case continue to have bad reputation. IMO you should sue but in the end do what brings your mental health peace.

  I am so sorry you and Chopper had to go through that horrific ordeal. You are incredibly brave taking on that pit bull. I agree with the last poster that it has probably 100% helped his recovery as he knows what you did to save him. You need to give yourself the same level of care as it was a traumatic experience ❤️ I am so pleased you have great friends, pets and partner to support you through this. Big virtual hugs x

  😂 "Vet tech said Chopper's a little dopey but that's his charm." I'm glad he's doing well and seems to forget the incident already. In reality, I think Chopper's quite smart and could *tell/smell* the difference between new pups he met to the one who attacked him. In appearance, they looked similar to us but Chopper knew. That's why he was fine with them.

  It’s weird because I’ve had several veterinarians advise against getting a Chow because we have other pets. It seems they had a stigma against Chows as well as being aggressive when around other animals.

  5:26 as this might be a bit expensive in some countries like mine, the ingredients for cat deodorizer is plain sodium bicarbonate(baking soda)-Nothing else- which is a lot cheaper. That was according to what was written on one brand of deodorizer that was available in my country(it was the equivalent of 8 dollars and plain baking soda is like the equivalent of 1 dollar or less).

  it wasnt the pitbull that had its fault, it was the owner.. they should have trained the pitbull.. if they trained the dog, this would have never happened tho! hope you and chopper heal! chopper knows u only tried to protect him. dont cry pls! it makes me sad too.

  Where I live, certain dog breeds are banned. Breeds like pitbulls, bulldogs, rottweilers are banned since 2023 so that these type of things dont happen to anyone but it’s not always about the dog breed, it’s about how the owner is training and treating as well. Last year, a golden retriever living near me bit an elderly man while he was on a walk. The man broke his back and has several fractured ribs and the golden retriever had to be put down. So, it’s not always about the breed, but also about how the owner trains the dog as well. I have also wanted a dog for a long time and now i will be getting one soon. We have agreed on rither a doberman or a german shepherd.
