Thank goodness for extroverts who understand introverts and make it safe for us to come out of our shells…but not too far! I have learned not to compare my introverted insides to the outsides of extroverts, because it’s not a fair comparison and I’d always come up short. Good on you for identifying the edge of your comfort zone and stepping gracefully outside of it.
Thanks for posting this was encouraging! I am also an introvert but became more of a “sociable introvert” after COVID & have been trying to challenge myself to get outta my comfort zone & meet more ppl!

I live in LA and the energy right off the bat for that hotel felt like DTLA. That area’s energy is intense! I don’t blame ya for sleeping with the lights on! Hopefully next time you come out to LA they put you up someplace closer to Century City or Fairfax. There are some cute boutique hotels near Melrose. Next time you’re out this way I’d be happy to show you my favorite Filipino bakery. I’m the chattiest introvert you’ll ever meet and I’m an intuitive animal communicator so I’d be more than happy to give you a reading on Bepo and Chopper if ya want ❤
I have yet to find my girlies in LA after living here for a year 1/2 now, but this video has reminded me it’s not too late to start meeting new people and that it’s okay to hang out alone in public :) (safely, of course - ngl some places in central LA do be sketch to walk around as a woman alone😬)

I'm so glad your trip went well! I'm near LA but wouldn't want to go other alone, personally. I am an introvert and often fairly shy but I'm trying to overcome it and be an example for others whenever I can. Us girlies gotta lift each other up!
