It would be very helpful if they quoted HP and torque numbers other than saying more power. Using a Dyno gives you exact figures. Maybe the more power was 2 hp and not worth quoting.

Tip: remove 1 inch from the tire size when inputing the tire size value. This compensates for the squat of the tire when loaded which will make your speedo most accurate. If you have 35 inch tires, enter 34. You can verify your speedometer against one of the various speedometer apps on your phone and adjust accordingly based on desired tire pressure/squat. Typically subtracting 1 inch does the trick.
The video makes it look simple. I have a 2019 Sierra AT4 with the 5.3. Had a lifter fail and caused all sorts of debilitating issues. Went ahead and installed a delete kit. However, in VCM editor, there is no "fuel/lean saving" tab for me to disable to AFM...

If your engine bay is not as pristine, and your Jeep a little older, than what's seen in this video....when you get the red locking tabs partway up you need to start wiggling the whole plug off the socket of the PCM. There is a camming action between the blue/green locking sliders in the sides of the plug (that the red arm is moving) and the nubs protruding from the sides of the socket. It also helps to have a very small flathead screwdriver handy. When I was trying to remove my PCM, the plug cap (that holds the red locking arm) kept popping off the plug at the bottom. I used the screw driver to push the retaining tab on the top of the plug to fully pop the cap off before re-positioning it on the plug.

Just bought a 2014 suburban and want to turn off the active fuel management system. For this video, do I need to buy that software for my computer and hook my computer to the suburbans computer? A little foggy on that part.

A while back I changed my tire size with hp tuners for 37's and no longer have the tuner. I plan to go from 37's back to the factory 32's. Other than the speedo being predictably off will the truck still drive the same until I can get another tuner?

Does not do anything that this video shows. It's the worst program that I have ever tried to use. It says that you can do it all with your phone. NOOOOOT! When it says connect to your phone with cable provided, NOOOOT! I need USB c connectors on both ends and the provided cable has full size USB and usb-c. I've been dicking around with this junk for 4 hours and STILL nowhere 😑

When I buy a product I expect that I can use the product and all it's features. Licensing scams like this are just... irredeemable. We need more opensource solutions to automotive maintenance and support other then proprietary junk. Free and Opensource is the solution we need. Not paid proprietary junk like this that limit what a DIYer can do at home on their own accord.
Of course they are affiliated with one of the worst reman companies out there. Engines with cams out of time, 1 cylinder a different bore, mixed and matched bearing sizes, etc. Their trans dont last the first trip out.

Seeing HP Tuners go from a small little shop of only Bill being the face on the automotive forums back in the day in the early 00's and getting my first MPVI to tune my '97 Grand Prix GTP. To now being a huge pressence in the auto tuning world and a leader in a lot of the platforms! Seeing them expand from a few GM cars to Ford and Dodge and now a bunch more manufactures and growing as a company! I am a loyal HPTuners user since my first purchase of the MPVI back in 2004-2006 time frame... I've tuned a bunch of vehicles over the years and upgraded to the MPVI2+ when it came out, and then not a few months later, the 3 came out! LOL... The improvements of the 3 and the universal credits for the upgrade made it worth is as I needed to buy those 6 new credits anyways for two new vehicles of mine and it was a wash on the upgrade cost. But the 3 over the 2+ speed for read/writes was WAY better! I love my MPVI3 and the products and services you guys have is second to none! I am looking at RZR's and now that you unlocked tuneing there, It's going to be a fun ride!!! LOL.

If a tighter LSA makes more power NA, it will make more power under boost. Can anyone prove with back to back dyno tests that a wide LSA blower cam with the SAME specs makes more power than a tighter LSA NA cam? I know what the results will be. All that wide LSA blower cams do is help idle and give up low end torque and HP. Some say a PD blower needs the wide LSA to reduce the low end tq. What??? The whole point of the PD blower is the instant tq. Thats what i want otherwise id go turbo or centrifugal
