When will 6L80E trans controller be coming?

Very cool, but will you be able to get it to communicate with all the new car modules for the different systems, meaning will it act just like a factory ECU, and if so how will you be able to read other modules i.e. body Control, HVAC, any of the non motor controllers, also will you be able to see cylinder spark

how does this work with the 6l80e reverse lights and park/neutral? alternator charges at 13.8+ vs 13.2 ?

At launch, how many inputs and outputs will be available? Thank you! Love the product!

is there going to be EPA barrier walls all over the place with it? since its not traditional modifcation to a epa compliant ecu in a stock vehicle.

Closed loop boost control? Independant throttle body control for Hellcat style bypass valve. Fuel table learning?

I want this on my 2019 Ram 1500 with my Whipple 392 Hemi.

Count me in! Only if the cost is cheaper then a Holley.

Is Core ECU going to require the typical HP tuners license's when going from one tuner to another? or will be it be a true standalone with no bullshit extra fee's for someone else to plug in and make a change?

We NEEEEED 6l80 controll!

I was hoping for a more plug and play 0411 ecu alternative. Maybe a adapter harness with this ecu??

Whats the harness going to look like? Universal or pre terminated?

Hi @gasolinelollipop449! At launch, we will offer (2) pre-terminated harness options, a 24x Drive-By-Cable harness, and a 58x Drive-By-Wire harness. More information on these harness options will be available on our website soon!

would be sweet to have low & high gm data communication make a harness plug n play into the stock ecm connectors so you can keep the cluster working and etc. like if i had a 05 silverado that i wanted too keep everything stock like the cluster radio, ac controls and etc. just a thought i feel like you could corner the market.

Any update as to when release will be? I have emailed support, posted on the forum, and sent a message on Facebook. All radio silence with no reply. Business partner and I are building a new race truck and would prefer to try the core ecu instead of holley.

Really nothing unique compared to other aftermarket ECUs already available but I am looking forward to seeing what more transmissions and engine controls you bring to this platform down the road.

@@elipeppers_racing none of these are for DI. The ones offering DI are 3500$+ and still no port Injection unless you add another modules that come down to almost 7000$us and you don't have VVT anymore. Kinda of a bummer.

Yeah if this doesnt become some sort of drop in to replace the OEM ecu and have everything work as stock, then it becomes a 'me too' product. Kinda surprised they are not launching it that way.

If so, that will be a game changer since it appears everyone else either doesn't support it or makes it so difficult that you end up splitting or piggybacking the factory ecu just to keep your gauges.

​@@steveo316true but if you're making serious power, who cares about the factory gauges? Car might not be street legal at that point anyway? I'd rather run an aftermarket dash if I make enough power to require and aftermarket ECM.

If this can run 16 injectors and up to 8 wasted spark coil packs... Theoretically it could run my Dodge V10. 🤔
