FireWalk is making short, simple and straight to the point music production tutorials for FL Studio. We want this to be an ideal place for producers who want to learn music production. We'll take even the most difficult subject and break it down and simplify it so that everyone can understand it.
This channel is all about quality. We're not here to waste anyone's time. We realized early on that music producers wan't to make music first and foremost. When they finally do go to KZread it's because they need to know something, and then get back to making music. If that sounds familiar, then this is the channel for you. We're here to help you understand whatever it is you need to know relating to FL Studio and music production in general.

Hello There, whats your desk reference pls ? It is awesome
Is there something like this to put on a pedalboard? because not all stages have grounding, I often get some ground loops on some stages. If only there was a product like this for a pedalboard that could be taken anywhere.
Ok, here is my problem (sorry for the bad English) whenever I use my aux on my speakers, there is always an "uiuiuiuiuiui" sound that comes out from them.. its only when i use cables tho BT and Optical they good
Bought one to test it out... Didn't work now should I expend even more money on stuff just to test?
what version of FL studio have the stems to extract each background music? tnx!
Thanks for the thorough video! I was able to figure out that the noise I hear through my scarlett 18i20 disappears only when I turn off my PC, but remains unchanged when I completely remove the usb from the PC to interface with the PC powered on which is confusing but maybe im over thinking it. Do you think the idefender cable would fix this?
I have a Gigabyte board, and Reaper records fine, it's just that my plugins all sounds shitty, and I haven't figured out why after about six years. Any idea?
Hey! I watched your video on how to do this and im stumped at 0:25 on how you made the sample longer without stretching it, how is that possible?
It looks like it was shortened first, and then it was simply dragged out to its original size again.
@@FireWalkMusic ohh alright, thanks!
you are amazing. thank you i know this is 7 years old but you helped me so much
Here's a good one For You.. I'm a Dj ... Play music at various places have no problems with sound system. I day a month I play at a Fire House for their food truck event. Loud horrible Rumble sound from my speakers is so loud it drowns out the music, I turn the volume down because its embarrassing!! The static or rumble only happens at times .... I might play for an hour & no problem,, Last night it happened every 5 or 10 minutes,The sound happens for about 5-15 seconds then stops, any help would be appreciated!
kh120 ii
Only problem with this is its rated for max 10 amps. The bigger your amplifier, the more susceptible it is to noise from a ground loop. Im battling this now, but my amplifier draws 12amps, so this won't work.
Magix ACID PRO had it before FL STUDIO did ,...
Awesome comparison
Yeah, thx a lot Mr Firewalk ! Great help for a lot of us 👍
This is one of the best tutorials I have seen. Cutthroat to-the-point in a hilarious way.
Hi. I hear a white noise hiss in my both monitors and increasing the volume doesn't affect this white noise. it's a continues hiss even if I disconnect the cables connected to audio interface. the only way i can get rid of that is to power of the monitors. I appreciate any suggestion to solve this
Thanks bro
You're welcome 😊
Dont narrow cuts cause the same problem as narrow boosts? Both mess with Phase a lot due to extreme steepness which flips phase around the changed part dramatically.
excellent !!!
WHEN I SAVE AS WAV FILE , WHERE IS IT BEEN SAVED?
can I ask a spesific question if you r still here?
Hi, sure.
@@FireWalkMusic I have bought a 2nd hand tower speaker plug and listen style. happiest trade of my life. But a big and uniq problem: I can leave it on as it hums. -Stabil low freq hum, no cracking. -if I volume up, hum also goes up. -if I unplug 3.5mm jack, it still hums. -if I unplug 2RCA from speakers hum STOPs. Here is the million dollar question : ***** if I play any music even a windows pop up sound, hum instantly stops, crystal clear sound, after I stop playing the sound, exactly 5 seconds later hum starts. during the day, I figured out if I play a random music from bsplayer with repeat all day but I volume down till mute,(I dont hear music it just sends signal as if it is playing it is in the background on its own) hum totaly stops, I use youtube etc, but when I go to sleep and turn off pc, hum starts ofcourse. This is such a uniq problem, I searched all forums, there was only one topic the same but no one could solve as the topic was not explaining enough. I tried with 2 laptops, and 2 phones. I turned a cat6 cable connection (3.5mm jack to 2rca) and still the same. I am not exaggerating, 40 yrs old, unemployed for 4 years rock bottom suicidal, my only good event in life is listening to music once or twice a week for a few hours. you are the only one who can understand this hum. please at least I want to know what causes this madness. thanks a lot in advance

ı even tried to wrap naked copper cable all the way long of 3.5mm to 2rca cable, tried to shield myself, like a Faraday cage, and grounded it in the power outlet. ofc it did not work :D but ı tried
Oh my gosh, thank you so so much! I didn't even know Fl Studio could do this! That's pretty sick
what version do you gotta be on ?
Thanks man. I have learned so much from you.
Great ❤️👌. You help me a lot
👏🔥✅
I've recently got a handful of people in different age range that I send my tracks to when I think they sound good to me just to make sure they actually do sound good more often than not they actually sound good... cuz I specifically buy computers that have good amps
God fucking bless you dude
Glad you found it helpful :)
need an updated video. but this video is still great
Thank you so much for this wonderful video
You're welcome. Glad you found it helpful :)
I make the steps but after all Piano Roll notes doesn't sound
How does this differ to the ifi silencer +? I thought the products really do the same?
They are both intelligent ground lifts that essentially does the same thing, but the idefender will only work in between the computer itself and the audio interface, so it can prevent ground loops caused by anything connected to the PC or the monitors through the audio interface for example. The idefender also requires an external power source. The GND defender is more versatile. It does not require external power, and can be placed directly into the back of the computer's power supply, or into the monitors themselves, a guitar amp or whatever.
@@FireWalkMusic interesting thank you
Hi, there im having issues with my yamaha studio monitor..high pitch random noise..connected xlr from my hotone guitar processor output..will try some of your ideas..thanks
Hi! What if i want to use the parametric eq to create a low to hi pass filter sweep. what would be the approach using a volume lever besides the track where the plugin is recorded?
is there a way to access an old version that was made a month ago?
Yes, you can download older versions from the image-lime website.
thank you. the old version of project files right?
@tommywindley4430 sorry, I thought you were talking about older fl studio versions (though it was another video). There is a set number of backups. For example, 100. Once that number is reached, it will start to overwrite the older backup versions. You can change it so that it will save more versions of you'd like. It is likely that the backup of the project has been overwritten by more recent backups.
Waw I'm watching ur videos from Haiti . Thank u so much for sharing ur skills with us .
тъпа работа....може да импортнем миди с 10 пътеки а неможем да експортнем миди с 10 пътеки
thanks so much twin
how do i assign them to different piano roll notes like a soundfont
I was searching the band from Life is Strange:Before the Storm. That's not the firewalk I was looking for.
Hey I'm using my trusty old Yamaha HS80m for almost 14 years and I really want to switch up a little bit. Do you think these are better than my Yamahas? I have no option to hear them in real life and I have to order them online? Also the lack of bass compared to the 8 inch monitors, do you think it can be compensated with a nice subwoofer? Thanks!
In short, yes. I think you will be quite astonished by the difference in clarity in particular if you try these. You will likely lose a little bit of low-end extension compared to the yamahas, but overall I feel like the improvement in clarity and balance is worth it. I have a pair of HS8 and another pair of LP8 from kali just standing here. They haven't been used since I got the A7V's so I can strongly recommend them. If you need extra low-end then sure, you can always add a subwoofer to take care of that. I have a 12" subwoofer here, but I don't use it much to be honest. Just occasionally to check the low-end in the mix. It can often be difficult to get a subwoofer perfectly balanced in terms of volume, placement etc, so I dont' really like to mix with them permanently on. But that's just me. :)
@@FireWalkMusic Hey I bought the A7V's and tested them out tonight. Frankly I'm a little bit underwhelmed. What I find is the lack of "resolution" It's like the dynamic range/ability to fit sounds and the stereo field is much more narrow than the HS80m's. It's like too much stuff are "fighting" to fit in, even on super simple songs that have 1-2 instruments and a vocal, you can clearly hear the wast and expansive stereo field of Yamaha's compared to the A7V's. I was so shocked that I didn't liked them that I even checked the stamps on the back, to make sure they didn't send me A7X's by mistake. I did a blind test with my girlfriend, switching between the two speakers, trying to match them equally via eq and volume (I also did a blind test with both of them completely flat) and what's the common consensus is while the A7V is more "fun" to listen to and "more 3D" (I'm quoting my GF here), especially in the UNR mode, the Yamahas BLOW them away in terms of dynamic range/stereo field , detail and transparency though in every music genre, from heavy hiphop to acoustic country concerts. All of the tests we did were on normal listening levels. I must say that I enjoyed the low-end more on the A7V's , it was more tight and more pronounced, even though HS80's can go lower. I'm thinking about returning these, because it doesn't sound objectively better for my ears. I'm a little bit curious to try them with Subwoofer and see if that take off the burden of the low end and let them be more transparent and wide.
I don't have enough space
I love fl but his freezing is annoying and uncomfortable, fl better than ableton tho
Thanks so much
What do you do if is echoing?
I knew she was from somewhere else
