Back ups on fl studio are BUGGY. I just spent about an hour on a project and didnt save ANY back ups even tho I have it to save frequently every 5 minutes and before risky operation. My back up folder is full of every recent project EXCEPT the one I JUST worked on. And often times it doesn't even save every 5 minutes. Sometimes theres 10 minutes between saves in the back up folder even tho the setting says 5 minutes. WTF.

@@T.Y.P.A actually i did its actually my bad, it autosaved in the folder it automatically creates when you save in the newer versions. im not used to it doing that so i thought it was going to be in its original place. im sorry fl gods please forgive me.

I recently yesterday tried sorting my desktop, because it just had all music on it and it was getting really cluttered. In result to that, some of my projects that I have spent a long time on have been missing some audio on it. In the folder on flstudio backup I have no backups now. Please help, I have no I dea what to do.

found the folder but there were only flps for FL 20, is there any way to find the 21 ones?

As a shortcut you can also find them in the FL Studio Browser, the folder is called "Backup". 🙃

What if i bought the plugin that i was using that was a free trial but it still crashes when i open it because it saved when i didnt bought the plug in but i have it now and when i try it says 2 buy it and ir dissapears

0:45 my project files used to look like that with the fl icon now it just looks like a blank folder and when i click it it sends me to the note pad this happend after i deleted the fl studio beta version i tried redownloading the beta version but can't do it no longer any suggestions on how to get back my files I can open the project in my daw but not from the folders

@tommywindley4430 sorry, I thought you were talking about older fl studio versions (though it was another video). There is a set number of backups. For example, 100. Once that number is reached, it will start to overwrite the older backup versions. You can change it so that it will save more versions of you'd like. It is likely that the backup of the project has been overwritten by more recent backups.

I found the backup folder, but there isn’t anything in it? I changed it to 5, but In fl studio it said it was saving every 10 minutes.
