My boy ove your videos always but theres something that annoys me in the latest versions but the old ones could do,, Dont really know how to ask this but How does one punch in when recording a verse without the previous take gettin picked up on the current take?

FL Studio is still alcking on comping capabilities. Cubase and Reaper for example, make it so easy, it's insane

Great video production. I recently add an effector to vocal chain. Record in old fl. 12 version. I should finally invest in the new one. Would be an easier.

Great video, thanks a lot. I was hoping FL Studio would have comping done better by now. I really like other aspects of FL Studio, but Logic/Ableton/Reaper all make comping so easy it's crazy. This is the main reason I left FL Studio for Logic, but I was curious to see FL Studio 21 after all these years as I heard it got vocal comping and I was curious to come try it again. Looks like more waiting :/

If i upgrade to fl 21 can i still use all my projects and if i do should i keep the old version of fl ? Because old recording sessions should be still able to open and how much space does the new version takes up ?

Key wav or anyone that can answer me this cause been looking for an answer but seems like no one can respond it when I record my vocals it seems like I’ve not recorded anything but I have to hit the bottom normalize in order to hear my audio it’s getting a bit annoying bcuz I can’t see if my vocals are picking I can’t find an answer and I’m using the Apollo twin interface

You don’t have to make the track unique to put it in another track ?

I'm sure there is, but I found the easiest method is the down arrow key. I'll see if there's a different way though!

Keep everything on Line so when dragging nothing leaves it original placement and it you do make mistake and move some thing off just move it back and it’ll still be in place.

Better to do vocal comping in any other daw as it’s easier. Reaper is a free, or cheap option

@@user-jl2te1tt5z That’s because Reaper plugins are so ugly, they are too embarrassed to show you that they are using them.

COMPING THE WORSE..COMPARED TO reason studio...BUT GOOD VIDEO

That's a terrible workflow. Would drive me crazy if I had to do it this way. Studio One, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Reaper, Ableton Live, and Cubase have much better workflows. So, practically any other DAW out there. I really hope this is not what FL Studio user actually have to do to comp a track.

How do you get these extra controls (record input options and arm/disarm) in the playlist tracks @3:23 ??? I have FL 21 but I don't have anything like this. All that i see in mine is the on/off green light in every track and some of my tracks have a little pad lock icon indicating that they're 'Locked to content' but the tracks don't seem to be locked in any way. Please help.

How to remove noise? My mic so noisy

If background noise is the problem use a "noise gate" there is a stock gate in fruity limiter. If its your mic making noise its possible you need a new mic or cord lol
