Just as a heads up on the copying mixer effects to separate channels part. You can do the same thing you did with dragging the mixer state with the effects. Only down side is that you have to do them 1 at a time. It keeps you from messing up colors and names and such though

i been looking how to do a recording. I tried recording on my own. uploaded my instrumental and tried recording. BUT. . . you could hear the instrumental int he background with my vocals if that makes sense. so the instrumental with my recorded vocals overlaps the main instrumental track.. I knew this was going to get more confusing.. so thanks for making this template.

Quick Question, some people have not only 1 Main REC Track but 2-3 with the same audio input source, how? Example: there are 3 Main REC Tracks, they start recording on REC Track 1, stopping and then they click on the REC Track 2 where they continue to record to be in time like only the track they click records do you know what I mean?

Record the vocal on a mixer track that you send to another track and not the master. On the track you send the recording to you can put effects without printing onto the recording

It changed color because I’m assuming “mixer state as” is copying the mixer channel in its entirety as in chain, panning, knob etc not just the chain

Please, Please, Please include "New Quantize Song Jumps" also in "Edison" and "Slicex". (1) In "Edison" it would be possible to create and play Loops in Any Order we like. Example. Loops=(2, 6, 8, 1) or (12, 1, 3, 6.10,) and choose to keep the loop playing in any order, DJ's will love this. (2) in "Slicex" you could create New Drum Loops and Patterns in any order from different slices. And keep the loop slices playing in and order you choose Possibilities are endless. Why is it that when I record it records both the beat and my vocals? How can I make them separate? Hear the beat and record just the vocals. Any help please ?

It shouldnt record the beat if you have headphones bro. Make sure the red dot (recording sign) under the beat is turned off in the mixer and is only turned on for your raw vocals

Assign your tracks correctly , make sure best is assigned to a beat track , and put your vocals on your recording track
