I ended up having to replace the valve seal, because the flow was decreased again unless I turned water off and back on.

What size is the supply line into the toilet?
The water supply line for a toilet will be determined by the length needed from the angle stop to the bottom of the toilet and the coupling nut size for the angle stop. A Toilet Supply line will already have the correct coupling nut size for the fill valve under the tank at one end of the supply line. An easy thing to do is if the label is still on the older toilet supply line it will tell you what size the angle stop is along with the length of hose. So you can purchase the same size and type. Cheers from Canada.... installed a new one this morning....now level set to almost Minimum but still after an hour it rises till the overflow pipe? Why! Any ideas?

My flange sits even with the floor. Followed the video and it's still rocking after nuts are tightened. No idea what to do from here. Also the spacer was to much even with the flange even with the floor.
Fluidmaster suggests trying the spacer first to ensure a proper fit, if it does not allow the bowl to sit flat or has a gap of more than 3/16ths so that the toilet rocks back and forth, then remover the spacer and use the non-wax gasket by itself. Used your product for my parents' toilet and it was easy work. The rubber gasket is the magic. Also, I used the included hardware for an A+ finish. Superb kit.
this wont wipe my piss off the seat
I have a flange that's even with the floor. With the extender, the toilet bottom does not touch the ground and rocks a lot. Does that mean the seal is too high because of the extender or am I suppose to sit in it and smash it flat with force?
The reason Fluidmaster suggests using the spacer first on flanges even or slightly below the floor is because some toilets may have a different recess under the toilet bowl. We have found that most toilets will have a 1/2 inch recess to allow the toilet bowl wax and non-wax products to fit, however, toilet manufactures can make the recess deeper. Fluidmaster suggests trying the spacer first to ensure a proper fit, if it does not then remover the spacer and use the non-wax gasket by itself. Why did you use the 3 inch Aquapiston and not the 2 inch Aquapiston?
The Aquapiston is a Kohler valve and not Fluidmaster product. For questions give Kohler a call at 800-456.4537
Did doesn't show the button on the bottom side of the flush valve...Can anyone tell me what it is, and what to set it on?

What does it mean if the water flow is very weak from the uncapped stem assembly once the water is turned back on? I definitely don’t need the cup to catch the water. It’s not even close to spraying, just barely trickling out.
This could mean that you have low water pressure and the cause could be some blockage from debris located in the angle stop (located at the wall) or the water supply line (connecting the angle stop to the toilet fill valve). I have a Gerber toilet with a fixed flapper so I’ll need to remove the tank and go through the whole 9! Smfh. New construction house with cheap parts and toilets failed after 1 year of buying the house.

The 7530 is designed to fit with modern flanges that are 3 and 4 inches in OD diameter. For larger flanges you may need to use wax or new flange. What is a compatible flange extender? My flange is 1.25" below the floor.
Fluidmaster suggests getting a second 7530 kit and using the 1 spacer unit with both blue gaskets to make a proper seal. However there are spacers available from your local hardware store that you can purchase to place on top of your floor flange. These spacers are available from manufacturers like Oatey and Pasco. I fitted this the other day. It was very easy. Hardest part was getting the old plastic backnut off. With it being plastic, and not very deep, and not being able to view it, just by touch, but got it off after a few minutes. I fitted the valve flow regulator as we do get "water hammer" from time to time. Not noticed it happening since, but it could be it just hasn't;t happened yet. The regulator doesn't seem to affect fill up times too much. Our cistern is 6L. It is very, very quiet when it fills back up. I used a bit of plumbers tape where the flexible Amins water feed nut was screwed onto the bras shank. And I tighten it up slightly with a wrench. It's confusing because this video says tighten a quarter turn with a wrench but the instructions say fingertight - DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Not sure guarantee is 1 year as it says in the instructions - I though I read it was 5 years somewhere.
My toilet is Glacier Bay and the red Rubber definitely doesn’t fit the bottom for mine

It makes life easy
Hi I've got a fill valve (Fluidmaster) to install on my own cistern. In the instructions that came with the Fluidmaster PRO45B it says to hand tighten the backnut and the nut on the water connection pipe. It says do not over tighten either of the nuts. Your video shows you using a wrench to tighten both. Which is correct?

Should I fit the valve flow regulator that fits in the shank? We do have water hammer occasionally and the water pressure is decent (but I don't know if it's high pressure). Not sure where or when we get the water hammer either, possibly when someone turns a tap off upstairs.
This did not fix the skids all up in my bowl.

Don't lift as shown in the video. Get on your knees and lift the toilet. It will save your back. I could have easily hurt my back if I had lifted as shown. Next, tip the toilet sideways and check the seal before tightening. Mine was folded, amateur operator error of course. It was easily unfolded before tightening down.

I bought one the other day was .installing it and when I pulled the chain as stated on the instructions the chain came off...can I put it back on?...if so..where does it goe?
It still works .but Everytime I flush..I have to disengage the unit from the float to allow the water to fill etc..but I would like to put the chain back on

Tip: If you have an electric leaf blower, before you remove the bowl, stick the blower nozzle in the bottom of the bowl and turn on the blower. Put a towel in the bowl to avoid getting sprayed. Any remaining water in the toilet is blown into the main drain in a few seconds.

Ok so does the Kohler install require rubber seals on bolts? It seems like not...🤔
If your Kohler toilet has a tank with 3 bolts then you don´t need rubber washer inside the tank with the bolts. The triangular gasket has 3 rubber tabs that will be compressed by the head of the bolt making them to go all the way down and seal at the bottom. will never again purchase fluidmaster products as your only solution to missing parts in a package is for me to fill out a warranty claim and wait for a replacement. People need their toilets repaired asap, not in 7-10 business days. I’m out the money for your fraudulent part and had to purchase elsewhere. Garbage quality customer service. I should be able to buy a replacement and get a refund from your company. Really nice scam you’ve got going on.
