Are the cartridges refillable? I cannot use bleach in the water because of the iron content from the well water. I have a special 'stain remover' product I would like to use in its place.

Please use our 8102 Blue cartridges instead. They are also septic tank safe.

Does the blue contain any cleaning agents at all,or just coloring?

The blue cartridges do have a cleaning solution. Blue cartridges are also safe for septic tanks.

My cistern fills from the bottom. Can I use this product?

Are both the blue and the bleach safe for septic? What is the difference?

The bleach should NOT be used for septic tanks. Only the Blue and Green cartridges are safe for septic tanks.
