Hellooooo & welcome to our channel!
We're Franc & Sarah, an Aussie couple from a small town in rural Queensland.
We want to show the Good, the bad & the ugly side of travelling full time.
You can expect honest content from us with our videos being a mix of "home video" and "travel vlog", we don't like to sugar coat things & we don't take ourselves too seriously.
Please like & subscribe to our channel, we appreciate it a bunch!
We also do a once a month LiveStream & post on average about 4 videos a week with a mix of travel vlogs & informational videos. We also LOVE dogs and try to do some volunteer work everywhere we go.
We've been in Thailand for 6 months and will be travelling around more SOON!

Locals don't really hang out in the city centre. That area is mostly for tourists. We mostly hang out at townships in Kuching like Saradise, Gala City etc.
Cambodian Durian is much creamier and sweeter than Thai Durian. The texture is smooth and cream cheese sweet.
welcome to Cambodia!!!!!!
why are people stupid, Indonesia is not just Bali, stop comparing Bali with other countries, if you want to compare Indonesia with other countries, not just Bali, Bali versus Phuket only makes sense. Bali vs Thailand??? where is your brain?
Go to White crater Mount bromo Borobudur temple Mount ijen Tumpak sewu waterfall
I just returned from Cambodia. I really enjoyed Siem Reap and Koh Rong. I didn't care for the street food so I stuck with Western restaurants. Cambodians are quite friendly but I still like Thailand the best.
That’s fair enough. To be honest I (Franc) can’t see a huge difference in the food or at least the tastiness. They’re lovely people! Everyone’s got their preferences, we love Thailand too 😊
Bye2,please don't come again. We don't need 2 people with 2k subs + no manners here😂 Btw i think u can stop making yt. 320 videos and still 2k subs like wottt😮 wht r u guys doing tho 😂😂😂
BTB my birth place.
Battambang is a very sleepy town. What other cities are you guys planning on visiting?
Phnom Penh & maybe some others 🙌🏽
We just arrived in B'Bang. Pretty easy Ride, around 4 hrs with breaks. It's been about 4 years since we were last here 🎉😊
Awesome, how long are you staying? It’s such a cool place. The river, food and street art are all so dope! 🙌🏽
Your reflection are wonderful of Siem Reap, if the people are very warm and welcoming that will make your stay a much better experience. I can't wait to visit next year.
It’s the people that really make a place special! Very much looking forward to it and hopefully we can play tour guides this time 😊
You guys made a good meal of those fruits. I've tried 90% of those fruits, but for me Mango is my number one.Did you guys know that Durian is the king of fruits in Thailand and Mangosteen is the queen of fruits in Thailand. I also like to try fruit and then make my mind up from the yes yes and the no no ones.
Durian is the king of fruits and the price reflects it! Have you had snake fruit before? I was surprised at the lack of flavour some of them have. Mangos are always a winner with us!
Thank you for sharing the awesome video about the Cambodian farmer and his farm❤
We had a ball! ❤️
By the time you guys see my comment, you may have already left Battambang, but still, I would like to recommend you try Mi Kola (មីកូឡា) and Bay Soaheu (បាយសោហឺ), if you get a chance to maybe? They are famous breakfast for the locals and it tastes great! Also, Miss Wong bar would be a great place to end your evening. Enjoy the rest of your trip and be safe!
We are not in Battambang anymore but there is always the strong chance we will be back so we will keep these suggestions for next time. Thank you for taking the time to recommend these foods, we appreciate it 🙏😊
It is so sweet of you both to travel to Cambodia and enjoy our cultures ❤
Sarah looks like a light skin Cambodian haha
Battambang means lost stick. Bat means lost. Tambong means stick.
It does indeed! We learnt that thanks to our wonderful tuk tuk driver Nicky! He took us to the black statue and gave us the rundown 😊🙏
The people seem so nice there, reminds me of thailand in the 90s
Beautiful people there, perhaps not so jaded by (some) tourists?
@@francandsarah yes very true
Battambang is one of my favorite towns in Cambodia 🇰🇭 ❤ Thank you for sharing your journey in Battambang.❤
Very lovely place! Our pleasure! Thank your for joining us! Means a lot ❤️🙏
I've only done a short trip into Cambodia years ago - but it looks great - so is it bang or bong lol
You’ll have to come again one day! Haha! It’s bong! But we’re still struggling somehow 😂
Battambang is my hometown, is where I growth up. So excited to see you there. I missed my hometown so much ❤
A beautiful city! Filled with some lovely people as well 😊
Very cool looking street food area & food - had a few sugar cane juice which wasn’t too sweet ( they also added some lime juice ) in Vietnam - real good mix of local foods - good on you for trying some - Thank you 😎✔️✌️👋👍🙏
We’ll have to give the cane juice with lime a go as that straight juice was too hot to handle for us! Thanks! There’s a lot of weird stuff out there, but every once in a while you find an absolute gem!
The noodle soups and shaved ice look super yummy 😋
Some delicious food this part of the world!
The nature is beautiful and the people are freandly ❤
Try going to Indonesia 👍
One day soon. Maybe next year sometime! Any advice on where to go?
Foods you ate look so delicious 😋 ❤
❤️
GREAT VIDEO FRANC N SARAH👏👏🎉🎉🎉😋
Thank you Kim! ❤️
Based on the feedback from other Khmer Americans who visited the country, eating raw veggies gave them stomach issues that led to the number 2 issue (if you know what that means, #2) lol.
Haha! That's interesting to hear! I think we get the picture 😂🫡
mouy=1, pi=2, bey=3.
Arkoun!
Great video guys, really enjoying your journey through Cambodia. Brave trying the mystery meats in a cup haha ... i haven't been able to do this in Thailand, not so brave!
Thank you Carla! Some very odd meats in there. Might be worth giving it a go....?
@@francandsarah I'm not so sure...they sold crocodile in Koh Larn and I didn't even want to try that lol. Keep up the awesome videos guys!
You two look so happy and relaxed. Sarah you are really shining in front of the camera !!!, You both have such a chill disposition it's always fun to spend some time with you. Reminds me of Thailand...It does make me miss the way the place lights up and comes to life at night, the openness of the people and all that beautiful food.
Thank you sir! The country is making a big difference on us I think. Big fans of Cambodia from what we've seen so far. Asia is quite the place at night! Thanks for stopping by, we appreciate you!
The name Battambang, Cambodia is related to a well-known Cambodian folk story and means "disappearing stick".
Yes indeed! We did learn that from our Tuk tuk driver later on in the trip!
Your Vlog is refreshing and sincere in presentation. A refreshing change from the theatrics many other KZread presenters project . Thank you and safe journey during your adventures . 🤙🏼
Appreciate the kind words ❤️🙏
Thanks for the little tour guys. Francs glass of mystery meat looked rather interesting. I could go for that shaved ice right now 36c here now.
Some funny looking meat went in my mouth that night 😂
Looks like Battambang is still a sleepy town. We were there in 2000 and it's been a lot of changes along the river now. Enjoy your trip there. Peace ✌️
Thank you, does still feel pretty chilled out compared to the other places we've come across. Quite a charming little place!
Please provide the contact info for your tuk-tuk driver. Thanks

TBH Sarah doesn't look like Australian at all, She's a little look like Cambodian woman Ages between 35-43
She could possibly pass as Cambodian and got local price If she can speak Khmer 😂
Hahaha I wanna learn Khmer, maybe once I learn I can do that 🤣 Cambodian women are beautiful so I’ll take this as a big win. ❤️ I’ve also been told I look Italian, Greek, Mexican, Brazilian & Spanish 😂 🤷🏼♀️
Nothing wrong with street food .if it is cooked well in front of you fresh. Thanks for sharing your videos.i am happy to see Sean as vip guest 😀 love you all from Dallas tx
Exactly! Thank you so much!
Clout chaser.. Disgusting tourists. U stoop so low to have viewers. Karen at its best.
In Thailand you have a different lifestyle and more convenience, not really a fair comparison
Odd lay out.
T'was indeed!
Wow those minibus rides are no joke. Hopefully Battambang is worth the journey...🤗
They can be so very smooth, or so very sketchy, and this was somewhere in between! Was a good shout and we'd say worthy of the trip. Good to see you again!
Very chilled and like how it’s spread out , would be very cool place to wander - good video 👌 look forward to more ✔️✌️👋😃👍👋
Great place to just spend a half or full day walking aimlessly. Thanks Ant! 🙏
This is so sad to hear and see.Glad that young kid came up with this wonderful idea and made mines safer over the years with this beautiful little Apopo rats and also detacting diseases in other parts of the worlds. They are so cute and Franc, Valerie was getting up onto your shoulder for some fun🤔😜😂😂😂 Again guys thank you for sharing this vlog.
Guys looking at that temple it looks so nice, and as you said, Franc , you can go deep into the grounds of the temple and you can meditate that must have felt very soothing. I have a friend who's visit around the second week of july and ive sent this vlogs link so she can prepare her self for the experience. That food looked very nice and the portions are good as well.👍👍🙏🙏🙏
You guys are back in Siem Reap, glad you are enjoying your second time round there.Sometimes you need to visit a place again because your first time you didn't get enough of it. Looking at this vlog you where very happy to exit Malaysia in a heart beat.🤔😜😂😂😂😂🙏👍
Guys, sorry that it didn't have all the amenities, but i agree with you as well. I'm glad you have made this vlog so others know not to make the same mistake. Thanks for your input👍🙏🙏🙏
If you feel unsafe, just tell them could they stop doing that. Had it a few times with drivers on the phone or driving too fast 😮.
Sorry you had to witness that.
We’re just glad everyone was safe ❤️
@@francandsarah same! Claire from For Riel (channel) also documented it.
@phlezktravels Claire is lovely ❤️
Very good report on Battambang. Thanks for the information.
Our pleasure!
