It's nothing to do with people. It's the government that doesn't care about people lives die each year on the road. Cambodia road accidents are one of the highest in the world due to no stringent traffic law in the country. It's really sad...

If you feel unsafe, just tell them could they stop doing that. Had it a few times with drivers on the phone or driving too fast 😮.

Tip for ya: If the driver is erratic or speeding and won't listen to you telling him to drive better, try this. Pretend you're gonna barf. Tell him you're about to barf in his car. Tell him to drive better or you will barf. Watch him drive beautifully after that. We used to use this trick all the time with taxis. Now, we have Uber-equivalents so they are more 'obedient'. Good luck.

It is very shameful to Cambodia as the country. This driver should know better than that. You should tell him to stop watching while driving. He is responsible for the lives of all passengers in his van. Don't be afraid to tell the dumb driver. If he does not listen, get off the van and take another one. Cambodia is the country I was born at, but the people play a part of taking care of the country. Plus, this government is in power for more than 40 years. It can't manage the traffic law and how can the new born leader after his dad gave him power can run the country. Other counties with good leaders, they are very advance in the live of the people.
