    Why do we assume that a transwoman is a hero and a victim? Like anyone else, they may be the perpetrator or the victim of abuse or violence. It’s how we all behave as people.

    Congratulations on all those street stalls. I just wish WRN via their Twatter/X account, had once, just once, re-tweeted any of our Party of Women candidates. Or just mentioned them, even once, in their member's newsletter. But thanks for carefully avoiding the 16 constituencies the candidates are standing in, because it might have scuppered their campaigns, especially if you were also giving out your leaflets. So thanks for that anyway.

    This is unfair. Lots of POW members are in WRN. KJK has been very critical of WRN this year so it’s difficult to know what would be the right approach! I think WRN has behaved really well about this.

    Awesome!! ❤️ Maybe the biggest challenge, though, lies in getting certain women to understand that "trans women" are indeed men? Because I think the problem is, TRAs don't fully see them as such! The most hardcore TRAs..? See them as anything ranging from "a type of woman", (what I used to believe, when I was at my most TRA), to in most respects indistinguishable from what they call "cis women", (a perspective I never held, as I could never FULLY rid myself of my understanding of human biology, including the reality of sex. I just told myself it was irrelevant). While people that are slightly / marginally TRA..? See them as sort of a third category. As not quite women, but not quite men, either. Thinking "trans women" is its own thing. (I went through that stage, too, during SOME part of my years-long peaking journey.) Anyway, I think key, here..? Is refusing to ever refer to them as "trans women"! (Unless you do it in QUOTES, either to refer to what other people think, or sarcastically / mockingly, like I do on occasion. But to never ever validate them as such, anyway!) Because using that kind of language makes people think of them as a subcategory of women. I love how you just simply call them MEN! Thank you! And if their "trans" identity / belief is in some contexts relevant..? Then "trans identifying men", or "men pr3t3nding to be women", work just fine! 👍 I actually had a really interesting conversation about this, with someone that I care about, who never fully bought into gender ideology, but did have SOME trutrans sympathies. Who is now much closer to terfdom, but is still not COMPLETELY there, and still has at least SOME remaining trutrans sympathies. (That I keep trying to destroy. 😛) As opposed to yours truly, who's run the entire FULL TRA ---> FULL TERF gamut. Who now refuses to ever unironically use words like "trans woman", because ceasing to use TRA language has been so absolutely ESSENTIAL to getting this awful, mind warping crap out of my head! And as I told my loved one..? Calling these men "trans women" actively made me see them differently, and as not quite men!! While my loved one told me that to her, "trans woman" always made her think basically "not a REAL woman! But a PRETEND woman!" Interesting conversation. And your mileage may vary. But I think it's so important for people like her to still NOT use the mind warping language, anyway! Because it will absolutely screw over the minds of people like my former self, actively gaslight them, and unhook them from reality! Which we can't afford to do, for the sake of women, children, and overall society, plus it is also cruel to knowingly contribute to someone's further cult hijacking. Just my rambly thoughts on it. 😛

    Matt Stephens is being a total Yes man here. "She" is Robert Millar. Always stuck up for Robert when i watched cycling on tv in the late 80s and early 90s. I missed the best part of his career in the early and mid 80s. Watched him battle Michel Dernies in the 1990 kelloggs tour when I went out to Holme Moss on the final stage. That's what I remember, as well as a very interesting chat one day with former brittish rider John Parker(RIP) whilst out riding a sportive in Lancashire.

    So if a CHILD tells that unbelievably stupid teacher that he/she identifies as a one legged CHILD, is he going to support them in getting their offending leg amputated and without informing the CHILD’s parents that their CHILD is struggling with their mental health? Of course not! So why on earth would any teacher think it’s ok to support a CHILD who is heading down a path that could eventually lead to the CHILD taking unlicensed hormones, breast binding or it’s equivalent, breast ironing, which is classed as CHILD abuse in the UK, mutilating their body, causing life long medical problems, permanent sterility and loss of any future sexual enjoyment? The vast majority of teachers have had no more than 90 minutes training on supporting CHILDREN who claim to be trans. The training is almost always provided by trans advocate self governing training providers. The overwhelming majority of teachers have had zero training on CHILD and ADOLESCENT mental health issues or on counselling CHILDREN, yet all of a sudden they are experts and so knowledgable on what the best course of action is for OTHER PEOPLES CHILDREN, who almost always have other contributing mental health issues, that they deem themselves above the rights and the roles of the CHILD’s parents, which in turn denies the parents the opportunity seek appropriately qualified mental health services before these ignorant, arrogant teachers have encouraged these mentally distresses CHILDREN on the path to something that many of them are likely to regret. Any teacher who goes against the findings and recommendations of the Cass Report, is a danger to CHILDREN and should be barred from teaching forever.

    There are so many holes in the AGP theory it's ridiculous. The main one being that men who transition and go on hormones see their libido drop significantly and actually report a relief that this has happened . If anything transitioning is a cure for a sexual fetish not the evolution of it. Men who enjoy cross dressing in the bedroom maybe but certainly not transwomen.People who believe in AGP are themselves believing in a porn stero type - are they watching too much porn? Transwomen also loose that need for visual stimulation hence find their desire to watch porn also drop significantly.

    what the F is wrong with the Welsh Govt. Self ID is a disaster. Look at what's happening in Spain - male sex offenders and those convicted of violence against women are taking advantage of the policy to access domestic violence shelters, in some cases to harass their victims.

    Outstanding achievement here by WRN Wales, from a grassroots start-up to a seat at the table in 3 years, and delivering a full consultation response to improve a poorly structured Bill affecting political opportunities for women. Cathy rightly points out that the Bill’s aim is mis-placed, will not address the barriers women face, and the failure to use Equality Act language will discriminate against women. All points were so well made. 🎩 🎩 off to Kate & Claire too. Top team !

    Connor should not be around children.

  • @kareno728
    @kareno7282 ай бұрын

    The problem is, teachers and others like Connor seem to really believe that what they are doing is in the best interests of young people. But they are not clinicians (although many clinicians are also getting it very wrong as we’ve seen from GIDS). We need to work from the best evidence we have and the best knowledge we have around child development. The scientific evidence in the Cass review goes against much of what Connor is espousing. He’s also being highly irresponsible in perpetuating a suicide myth that will be more likely to harm young people. People like Connor need to stop this hyperbole that society hates children who are gender non-conforming, confused and in distress. It’s reinforcing persecutory beliefs that again will harm them far more. No one hates these young kids for ‘who they are’. And anyway, relying on surgery/drugs is most definitely not the best way to achieve true acceptance of oneself.

  • @imitationofwoman
    @imitationofwoman2 ай бұрын

    Interesting how few people are with Connor here. People are realising what they been endorsing and are quickly pretending that they didn't know... I love how people like this constantly flit between using the phrase 'young people' and 'trans youth'. To be legally and ethically clear Connor, you are talking about children, minors who cannot consent. This blurring of lines and boundaries is significant and whilst I don't think most of that side are pae.....le's, some of them absolutely will be. Pushing for the concept of 'self-determination' for minors and promoting the idea that children 'know themselves' is dangerous as it ushers in ideas too about what they CAN consent to. Most adults will now recognise that 'trans' kids healthcare' really means the stunting of their natural development and pushing them towards disfiguring, mutilating, unecessary surgeries and all the awful, painful forthcoming complications that follow. 'Restricting their access to healthcare' means restricting access to procedures that will rob them of sexual function and fertility and make life-long patients of them.
