This woman speaks like she is a victim. Has she considered how many people would have suffered from the drugs she was trafficking? She is only thinking about herself. If you are a cosmetologist in Jamaica, you have a lucrative business so your decision to traffic is inexcusable. It's a choice she made to get in trouble and be hungry in America, it is sheer greed. It is shameful that a wife and husband who have careers as engineer and cosmetologist indulge in this type of crime that destroys families. I wonder if they children. The drugs they are trafficking, children are taking and even selling. Every drug trafficker must repent and believe the gospel of Jesus and change their lives.

I will definitely try to find a copy of your book. As a biomedical scientist, I had to opportunity to meet with a group of high students and their mentors who visited the laboratory? During the discussions, the students brought up the issue of Henrietta Lacks. We also discussed the Tuskegee experiment. Their distrust of the healthcare and drug systems was palpable. I am glad that you are working to help overcome the distrust.

While I acknowledge the police officer's use of excessive force, it's important to consider that the civilian was already under arrest and should not have resisted or shown disrespect towards Jamaican police. Here In the UK, such resistance could lead to the use of pepper spray or a Taser. This incident identifies the need for the Jamaican police force to improve officer training and equip them better to handle such situations more effectively in the future.
