I believe the policewoman acted unprofessionally. If the woman merely pointed her finger without making physical contact, the policewoman had no right to hit her. If the woman had committed a crime and the policewoman couldn't restrain her, she should have called for backup, point blank, and period.

It started at the school and they call the police, very soon all teachers will leave the classroom, you can't talk to these children, they call parents to to beat teacher. So much indiscipline every where you turn. We are hard to deal with, set example for the younger generation.

St. Catherine full a dem type of parents! Because, dem think lineales and connections to Klansman and One Order gang members give them the right of passage to ge disrespectful and confrontational. Went to Jericho Primary School once! Saw a little boy behaving badly and the teachers are afraid to deal with hus little ass! Turns out that tge boy was such man from KLANS-MAN Nephew. AS FOR ME, WHEN I DESL WITH JIM, SUCH MAN CAN TAKE HOM AND TEACH HIM HIS TRADE! BUT, NOT IN MY CLASS ANOTHER DAY!

The police officer was the first to put hands on her because she pointed at her. While I do agree that that was a common law assault, the police’s force was very excessive and she needs to be stripped of her duties and charged. She grabbed the lady in her hair and started pulling here towards the van and that’s when the lady held on to her blouse. The lady was defending herself in my opinion because she was heard telling the so called officer to let her hair go and she’d get it but she refused to and I think it’s because of the power she felt. She also repeatedly hit the lady in her head when the lady was not even hitting her at all and she bit her so bad she started bleeding. Idk about u but I know for a fact that officers aren’t trained to pull hair or bite suspects or even hit them in the head when they’re not putting hands on them. I agree that the lady was wrong for pointing at the officer but absolutely too much force was used and that officer deserves jail time. If this is Jamaica’s law enforcement system it really isn’t the place to live, grow families or do business as they want it to appear to be.

My sentiments exactly, Daniellea. The policewoman is a big bully and was clearly abusing her power. Had she dealt with the situation in a more professional and respectful manner, chances are the civilian would have complied.

While I acknowledge the police officer's use of excessive force, it's important to consider that the civilian was already under arrest and should not have resisted or shown disrespect towards Jamaican police. Here In the UK, such resistance could lead to the use of pepper spray or a Taser. This incident identifies the need for the Jamaican police force to improve officer training and equip them better to handle such situations more effectively in the future.

That 30 yrs old tyrant is lucky it's not in Canada or the USA, she probably would have gotten her arms twisted, go to jail and loose her case. Too Many civilian tyrants living in Jamaica, No respect neither to God nor mankind. On top of that, whenever there's a problem, these are the same law men they're calling for help. She was asked to leave, she should have obeyed authority and done so. No Example, no wonder why Jamaica is so full of blood sheds, shame on those tyrants!!🙏🏾
