  100% this! Interval is WAY more important than brands. Please NEVER wait 10k between changes! Every 5k with a reputable brand synthetic will add years and miles to the life of your motor, regardless of what car/truck/van/motorcycle you drive!

  mk7.5 daily driver here. at 103k and all I've done is a water pump and spark plugs. as long as you keep up with the maintenance their great cars. about to go in for my 120k timing chain early. Canadian so I'm in kilometers. car hibernates from December to march and drive the wife's 2018 SQ5

  105k miles with a 2018 TSI 1.8t with a stage 1 unitronic since it hit 25k miles and no major issues so far just brakes sparkplugs, coils and a o2 sensor once. I live in the rust belt.

  Yoo I have the same issue with CarPlay. When it doesn’t work off the cold start, you gotta reboot the infotainment by holding both knobs simultaneously (No Diddy).

  6k you can get a low end paint job. By the time you need it the car is 10 years or older. Ppf lasts less than 10 years 😂.

  I would do a chemical ppf on a cheaper car and then once I get into that 60k+ range I would start doing ppf but most likely only the front end. Chemcisl ppf if a rock chips you get touch up paint and some polish and polishing th car isn’t to hard to learn. Good for someone on a budget

  Great video, really helpful. I bought a stage 2 golf R that came with an xforce downpipe + stock exhuast combo and its very loud. Id love the option to have quieter cold starts and less drone at low RPM though. Those Xforce cat backs are pretty expensive here in aus but this video has made me strongly consider it.

  Generally I go 5% tint all around. I can see perfectly fine through the tint at night as well.

  Have had my share of vw’s and if I want a fancy interior and electrical problems I’ll get in my clubman s. The gr86 is about handling and I love my 2024 manual with the safety features of the automatic.

  Is it worth it?? The question are, are you too lazy and incompetent to shift your own gears? (Which is the beauty of this car since stick shift is going away). And should the AUTOMATIC Transmission be abolished for a DRIVER'S car such as the GR86/BRZ? YES!

  Since you started driving about a year or two ago, it would have been hard to start learning how to drive and stick shift at the same time. I don't see a problem with the auto.

  If I owned a car I'd do 70 on the front windshield, 20 on the back window and 5 on my door windows. It gets hotter than a MF where I live. I'm talking up 120°+ 😅
