@8:00 yes those things are annoying if you drive another car most of the time and rarely drive a Tesla, especially the first time you experience controlling stuff in a Tesla. But once it becomes your main way of controlling mirrors and such (and remember, when you have a Tesla profile, the side-mirrors and seats and wheel all return to their saved position for your profile when you enter the car without you having to adjust anything), it is the button farm in a traditional car (my sister's SUV has over a dozen buttons just on her steering wheel! very efficient to have all those dedicated, single-purpose controls when you get used to driving it, but much, much worse than the Tesla solution when driving her car the first time).

@6:23 restarting the screen does not reboot the car, in that you can still drive (sans instruments and some controls, granted) while the screen reboots and it reboots quickly. Besides, the need to reboot the screen seems to be a rare event.

@10:50 "... I wanna say, Older People if that is the right way to put it... " Must be true. I've had about two weeks for this slow old man to get used to the Tesla way and wow, man, does my Model Y LR appeal to me, of course I'm one of those O.P.s. ;) I think that for some young or old, the Tesla makes a horrible car to borrow, because it is so different and does things differently than in the manner to which you may be accustomed. That is my wife's complaint, that (for instance) you can't just click open once to unlock the driver's door and twice for all the locks (well I have that as a complaint, too). And she prefers having static control knobs and buttons for media and cabin environment, rather than menus and/or popups and/or voice commands. BTW, the excellent suite of voice commands make up a lot for the lack of physical buttons and knobs, but again, you have to get accustomed to it and learn the commands you plan to use ahead of time.

Nice video! I don't like electric cars because they are still a developing Technology, improvements can be made if you could battery swap instead of wasting time waiting for it to charge, can't buy a home charger if you live in an apartment or like you in NY, their use of slave labor to mine the rare earth minerals, the pollution this mining does to the water and land, because by definition the minerals are rare not everyone it's going to get an electric car, as of today the grid is not ready for all to make the switch to electric, they also loose range or can't charge if too hot or cold like the videos show this last winter, can't tow, Tesla doesn't want to make them DIY friendly and want customers to pay them, a little fender bender and the battery is damaged they replace the whole car, too mant things ain't right. Not hating on the people who like them just on the scammers that sell them. My opinion. 😮

I've always wondered about battery swapping too. Like how restaurant deliveries swap the battery on their mopeds; it makes the most sense. like an conveyer belt carwash but for battery swapping..... But yes living in NYC if you don't have your own charger it kinda sucks cause there's only handful of places to go charge and it's super out of the way. Otherwise I'd get a Tesla to get from point a to b instantly! Texas powergrids couldn't even hand some snow 😂

You should spend more time learning about electric cars before you talk about them. I can charge my ioniq 5 from 10% to 80% in 16 minutes.
