Like and like I was like and he was like and like
🤣🤣🤣 You don't notice how much you say it until you have to watch yourself back hahahaha
You ate Curry Puffs! :D Don't know the word in thai :)
Glad you recognized it!! It was delicious 🤗
So glad I am finally on top of all your wonderful adventures. I would be totally overwhelmed with all the stuff that was being sold through that walking street market. Still lots of people around, though I think the lantern festival takes the packed prize! Thanks again. 🙂
One of our favourite markets we visited in Thailand! Between the local performances and amazing food, we had a great time 🤗
Love your video. Do you have one about the first sticky waterfalls you visited? Thanks
Thank you so much! Yes it's included in our video about Khao Sok National Park 🤗 it was part of the tour we did! No tourists (apart from our group), right in nature, and it was our first ever time experiencing sticky waterfalls! That hike definitely left an impression on us.
@@robynandgraham Thank you. Will definitely watch it. I'll be in Thailand in November. Still planning my itinerary.
@@legauloisexile3498 amazing! We were there for November and December 😁 it’s a wonderful time to visit but definitely busy in Chiang Mai because of the lantern festival!
@@robynandgraham I plan to be there for Loy Krathon. Saw some videos from previous years. Should be epic!😊
Wow! I can see why this festival would be the nightmare of the fire department! Our fireworks displays in Canada are so well regulated just because of all the Workplace and Health regulations. We had a mini lantern ceremony when Jacob graduated - only one lantern per person who came to his party. We were out in an open area but still a lantern drifted into a tree - and another came down into the field and we had to run to put out the fire. Very tricky to control - and there is the debris as you mentioned in your jungle vlog. Liked the floating flowers/incense part of the ceremony - to drift the negativity away for the next year. You guys have done an awesome job of giving us so many positive stories from your southeast Asia trek. Thank you 🙂
Interesting contrast between the two communities. Think you guys needed a change of pace anyway, for a day or so. So much happening. 🙂
Definitely caught us off guard at first when everything was so quiet! Really put into perspective how loud and busy Chiang Mai was!
So cool! Wish I were at least 50 years younger to enjoy such an experience. Appreciated that you were off the beaten track and seeing the country the way most of the people live it. Wonderful.. 🙂
It was such an amazing experience! One of our favourites from the trip 😁
Just found your channel. Really good information. Also love you share coffee spots 😊 ☕️ When do you both think Cambodia & Malaysia will be in your travels ? Wonderful content. Look forward to more SEAsia videos!🎉
You'll soon find out that we are obsessed with coffee 😂 We unfortunately didn't get to Cambodia and Malaysia on this trip but it's definitely on our list of somewhere we hope to visit soon 🤗
ยินดีต้อนรับครับ❤
So kind 🤗 thank you!
I'm Asian. Welcome to Asia. Tokyo Japan. Seoul Korea. Shanghai China. Taipei Taiwan. Bangkok Thailand. Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Singapore. Manila Philippines. Jakarta Indonesia
Thank you so much!
hope you enjoy😊
Thank you so much 🤗
Yes Vietnams coffee is the best
It honestly is!! We can't get enough of it 😍
Loved this video. The jungle trek looked so fun.
One of the highlights of our trip for sure! 🤗 such a unique experience!
Hi guys, What a fantastic video! Thank you so much. We really appreciate it! 🙏🥰 Cheers, Pim and Miki
What an amazing experience!! Getting out of the big city and into the jungle was definitely a highlight for us 🤗 What a unique experience for tourists to do when they come to Thailand!
Name of the falls??
The first one we went to was called Paradise Waterfall, the second was the Khao Ra Waterfall 😁
Ha ha ha wow Oh I'm so hungry 😋🎉 Congratulations wish you happiness 😊💕🎉🎊
Thank you so much!! ☺
Croatia always sunny ❤
The weather there was amazing! We were so lucky with it 😁
@@robynandgraham why people leave Croatia? Due to small job market?
Happy good day
It was a really good day! 😄
So impressed by how you guys are making your way through local transportation, bureaucratic red tape, language. Amazing! 🙂 Such interesting food! 🙂
Thailand transportation was a lot easier to figure out then Vietnam!
So interesting! Looks like it would be so slippery and yet it obviously not! Glad there were some ropes for the steeper parts. Still not seeing lots of 80 year olds trekking on by! Thought the guy was putting chocolate on the crepe! 🙂
We were amazed by them!! Such a cool experience 👏🏼
I like the herbal thai massage. The traditional looks painful! Never heard of Chiang Mai before and now Jacob has been there, your dad Grant and then your mom, now you two! Loved this video. Thanks! 🙂
Chiang Mai ended up being one of our favourite places in Thailand! So much to do and see and eat 🤗
Love the bus stop sign! You guys are so positive, after 14:12 hours! They would have let you on in Mexico! I can't believe how chipper you guys are after such a long travel day! Forget the chill - how about the sleep! 🙂
Honestly we got more sleep on this bus then the lay down sleeper buses in Vietnam surprisingly 😂 I think it was the less amount of honking that helped
OMG!!! Where is your walking sticks! Yummy supper to end it all off! Love it! 🙂
One of the coolest hikes we did on the trip! And we weren't expecting it at all which was the best 🤗
I hope I get to try the dishes you made. Looked like so much fun! 🙂
We tried all the ones we made PLUS all the ones they made! We left there extremely full 😂 so many dishes!
Love love love this! Thanks so much. What amazing and special beings elephants are!❤
Elephants are by far one of our favourite animals! It was such an amazing experience getting to be that close to them 🤗
You made the right choice to come to Asia , Asia is rising , China Japan South Korea. Taiwan. Thailand. Malaysia. Singapore. Philippines and Indonesia , the Asian century is coming !
We absolutely LOVED our time in Asia! The people, the food, the places, the nature.....everything! Can't wait to go back some day 🤗
hope your guys enjoy.
It was an amazing experience! 🤗
❤❤❤
You're confused about directions because you have travelled south of the sun. You've probably spent your whole life north of the sun.
Coming from a landlocked part of Canada doesn’t help 😂 we only see the ocean when we go on trips and that didn’t happen much before this one!
love you guys😘😘🥰🥰
Thanks for watching our videos!!! 🤗
Can swim at ao nang beach? Some say dirty? Is it true?
We didn’t have any problem swimming at Ao Nang beach! 😄 it may not have been as pretty as some of the surrounding beaches but it was still nice to spend the afternoon there 😊
Thanksssss
1. Thailand has VIP sleeping cars such as NCA First Class, Sombat Tour. If you have a chance again, try using these 2 companies. 2. You put the wrong Thai flag on the cover on YT. You use the Costa Rica flag not Thailand Hope your guys enjoy and safe.
We will have to check those companies out next time we are in Thailand 👏🏼 And thanks for letting us know, we must have missed it! It's changed now 🤗
I have lived in Bangkok fot 16 years but only know about 5 bus routes. Because of the incredible traffic (but not at 530 AM), it is easier to take BTS / MRT if the destination is near a stop. Good video. Enjoy your travels !
That's what we were hoping to take but the bus dropped us off way closer! Although it may have taken more time in the end 😂
Love your travel days
Glad you are enjoying them!! We love making them 🤗
👌👌👌👌
Love the jump scare at the end😂
Hahahaha one of our favourite bloopers yet I think! So funny 😂
Da Nang, Da Lat...hard for me to make a Da cision. Thinking Da Lat and occasional beach weeks in Da Nang.
😂 love this! And yes we loved Da Lat!! That sounds like a great plan 👏🏼
@@robynandgraham enjoy your journey!
Brings back wonderful memories. I stayed at the Athens Hub in 2021 for a week. One of my favorite hostels in Europe. It’s in the middle of the beautiful Monastiraki neighborhood. Glad you found it and enjoyed it. 🙂
We absolutely loved our stay here!! 🤗 Hope to go back one day
Can't believe the hike terrain - and in sandals. Your mom was wearing sandals too on their hike in St Lucia. I would need full blown hiking boots not to turn my ankle. Thanks for taking me safely to places I will never be able to go now. Vicarious living through my grandkids. Love XXX 🙂
We may have benefited if we wore actually shoes 😂 but it was way to hot for that! ❤ Glad you're enjoying our travels!!
cool place. Loved the sunset too and enjoyed the couple kissing behind you! 🙂
Hahahaha we definitely didn't see that 😂
❤❤❤
Nine months, and this Moose Jaw guy will be there. Flight and hotel booked. Thanks for the info.
A fellow person from Saskatchewan!! 🤗 Hope you have a wonderful time in Thailand!!
Glad i found this video. We might be moving to Umag. Is it busy with people? And have you seen any grocery stores that i can walk to and buy every day foods?
Wow that's amazing!! When we visited there wasn't a ton of tourists but travel wasn't fully open yet after Covid and there weren't a ton of people travelling so it may be different now 😁 However, it won't nearly be as busy as the cities in the south of Croatia get! There should be grocery stores as we cooked a lot of our food at our accommodation 🤗
@@robynandgraham thanks so much!!
Yay! We made it! What a long travel day but great lounging. Looking forward to what we will see in the next vlogs! 🙂
I'll send a longer message once my legs get uncramped from watching you guys climb that mountain. Who had to carry all the supplies up to build that Big Buddha! And the separate ways down? Wow! Glad there was a good positive ending to that story. Appreciated the trust you each had - that Robyn just waited in the lobby and Graham just walked along until a 'grab' came along. Much more restful for the voyeur to see the beach, even if the local parachute guy wasn't strapped in. Exhausted now - and I was only watching. 🙂
Definitely a big day of challenges! But one of the most memorable days of our trip 🤗
Curious what your guys’ budgets were for each day in each country/currency! I love seeing the currency conversion pop up whenever you mention a local price too.
We budgeted $80CAD for the two of us together and honestly unless we were doing an excursion we never came close to hitting it on a daily basis!
@@robynandgraham including lodging or no?
@@ashbreault4474 yep including lodging! And you can definitely do cheaper than we did 😁 I would say we are “comfort” budget backpackers!
Crazy! There were even crosswalks to get across the road but it didn't look like it made much difference! And that sticker cafe! Loved it! Was amazed to learn that Hanoi has twice+ the population of Toronto, the largest city in Canada! Hope you don't forget your shoulder cover the next day, Robyn! 🙂 Great Day!
I was slowly learning to just always have one handy because you never know! 😂 It's so hot all the time, the last thing I'm thinking of wearing is a long sleeve which is why I would forget it!
I loved the views out of those windows! What a hoot! And being let off your bus, who knows where! You guys are troopers. 🙂
Felt like with transportation in Vietnam we never knew where they would pick us up and drop us off 😂 very much had to go with the flow
yessss Ao Nang time!!
LOVED Ao Nang!! The whole area surrounding it was beautiful 😍
love you guys
Awe thank you so much for watching!! 🤗
