  You could cheese a villager with a blast furnace to get diamond armour for emeralds. Also, a defence/regen beacon might help make the fights longer. Looking forward to some tournies!

  "I need Riptide 1" My suggestion would be to ask Grian. Considering you can get Riptide books from fishing, and how much he's fished, it's pretty much guaranteed he'll have one. I have seen Villagers sell Riptide 2 & 3; however, that was on Bedrock Edition, so I'm not sure whether or not that's also a possibility on Java. Same thing goes with Impaling, Loyalty, and Chanelling, if I remember correctly.

  I love the shaders you use to show the base sometimes! They are so intense and so different from the usual minecraft shaders, but the atmosphere they create is insane! And it fits the whole base area so perfectly! I can't wait to see what the whole area is gonna look like in those shaders in a few months from now!

  I’m getting the feeling that the Hermits are training this season for MCC, which will be awesome to have more of them join. Can you imagine an MCC with 2 hermits on each team?! It would take me a week to get through the VODS.

  Just an idea for the arena, maybe bubble columns to allow the players to gain height easier? or maybe put a Dolphin nearby to give them the grace effect? Either way love the videos, cant wait to see more

  From what i can tell from when you and joel were testing the trident, i think the arena might be one block too long, cause i think the riptide "dash" runs out one block before the water column and you dont actually hit your oponent when you trident across, you just fall short in front of them and then get picked up by the water. Maybe shortening the arena is worth a try? but otherwise the idea is really cool and thats gonna be relly fun!

  Gem Gem Gem!!!! You should put lightning rods hidden somewhere on the skull so when it rains you put the shaders on and then you get real cool shots of lightings striking on/around the skull!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Maybe you can make the fighting arena into a literal fish tank and attach a conduit under the platform that's connected to the main water area but hidden. That'll make it easier for bystanders to see the fight as well.

  Hi Gem, I'm not much of a builder, but I have a little building efficiency tip for you! When you have underwater dirt that needs to be mud instead, don't replace the dirt, just go out with a water bottle and double-right-click the dirt. The first click turns the dirt into mud, the second one refills your water bottle, assuming you're underwater the whole time...
