  Interesting. I worked as a coach driver for Greyhound Australia for nine and a half years. I enjoyed the job, but it is a tough way to earn a living. I got made redundant with a heap of others during the Covid pandemic. I was happy about that because I was 76 years old and I was going to retire at 77 anyway. My runs were Brisbane to Toowoomba and return , twice a day, Brisbane to Noosa, Brisbane to Byron Bay . Mostly I did the Brisbane to Sydney run, stay overnight in a motel at Coffs Harbour and bring the Sydney to Brisbane coach back the next day. Unfortunately Greyhound have just had a very serious accident in Queensland. Three passengers dead and two critical, many others with serious injuries. There were 33 passengers on the coach.

  My hubby is with C R England. So far so good. 1 year in he is one of their safest drivers so he's golden. No Cal .91 cents a mile start. Down side no raise.

  I’m going to covenant in a few weeks! I’m not really worried about pay im just trying to get that experience up so I can get to the real money that requires 6mos-1yr experience! I don’t expect starter companies to be that great tbh! Go to whatever company open its door for you and ride it out until you get a better opportunity! Hopefully closer to home
