Happy New Year. I hope it's the best one ever for you. When I was a local TT driver running out of Aberdeen there were some weeks I would be in NYC everyday making multi stop deliveries. Some days were better than others, lol. Been watching you for a couple of months now but it just dawned on me that one advantage you have over a TT driver is that your freight walks on and off of the vehicle. Mmm.....

NYC Amtrak station is called Penn Station, btw that deli is the one to go to, it's cheaper then the places in Penn (Moynihan station) and is usually open when places in the train station start closing especially when wanting a coffee my style.

I've had to drive tractor trailer in NYC and I was not thrilled. Especially with how new Yorkers drive.

Everyone always says that about Werner. Thats only when you firsr start out. So if a person gives up after a month, that means they didn't even give it a chance. Werner is a training company with MULTIPLE top dollar account's, and not just dollar general. So that statement is only partially true. Werner has wonderful training...good equipment and wonderful terminals. Maybe Im biased because thats where I am...on a top dollar account. You just have to give it time. I got my account within 9 months. So it didnt even take a year.

@Transporttoprofit okay. Been thinking about doing line runs but I drive school bus tho. As long as hours are guaranteed, I will definitely do. Same days work and sane days off.
I drive a new York city bus it is a headache
My current company I drive for is laid back but I dislike tarping in bad weather and the dedicated customer I haul for lacks common sense so I somewhat thought about looking for a new job.

@@Cherishbarber94 I currently make $27 an hour with overtime after 40. And it does occasionally seem work is slowing down. Plus I did get placed out of service in parkton MD on my way to Delaware for being 45k on the trailer axles and someone had to unload 6k off the trailer. If I do switch jobs I'm considering either going back to van trailer or Conestoga so I don't have to tarp in bad weather.
