Love this. One of my favorite tunes. Incredible finger work, both of you.

Love this.. I love that the melody is so clear in the instrument performance, and it has tremendous energy.

I have idolized Charlie Cushman for over 12 years. I even caught he and Warren's performance at the Old Town of Folk Music in Chicago a couple years back. My old banjo teacher said he has met Charlie and said that me being a Black American, Charlie would not be interested in meeting me. I guess it's not always wise to meet your heros. 🙂

My banjo playing pal in Finland contacted Waren Huber to buy a Yates banjo. Ron shipped the banjo to me in Texas. When my son visited Texas he hand delivered the banjo to the Finn player. Ben Fodstad of the Finn BG band Velvet Blue.

Its sad that our best friend in Christ is so ignored and denied by many. Christ is the answer, he showed us the way, but I pray that one day we all see it. Thank you Jesus. I would be nothing without you.

Reed Martin is my grandpa, and he wrote this tune for my grandma Barbara who passed away not too long ago. I was really wanting to hear it and having trouble finding his CD in my things and wondered if anyone had happened to upload his recording. What a wonderful surprise to find this amazing cover! You play so beautifully! Reed is one of the most amazing and talented people I've known in my life and has lived such an incredible life. Makes me so happy to see others appreciating and carrying on his music!

I don't know this band but thought the guitarist looked familiar then I heard him play and I was like he's gotta be someone I know. Someone that sounds like that doesn't slip through the cracks. duh, it's Jake Workman. Jeez, what a player.

That Tokai is a hoss (like the guy playing it in this video). I heard Ben play it at a festival in Morganton, N.C. around 2010. It was just a few days after Snuffy set it up. It's one of the best sounding banjos I've ever heard. It sounded like an old Gibson over the p.a. system when Ben played it that night.
