I'd say that's part of it, but, it's very strange for CR7 supposedly Nike's premiere athlete to not have other boots available to him and not to have anything in the most recent colourway. There's definitely more to the story between Nike and CR7

i agree with james about the compression fit tongue in the f50, i have a reasonably wide and high-volume foot and the tongue just bunches up too much. when i get on my toes it folds up and doesnt return back to shape without tugging up the tongue. U-throat all the way for me. the upper also felt really plasticky, i dont rate the boot at all. maybe i got a shit pair. didnt enjoy, didnt keep.

James has a full time gig, I only work part time. My blog is essentially a loss making hobby. It is a massive challenge. There is a constant battle with what to keep and what to sell. For example, I did not want to sell either my Roteiro or my regular Preds, but I got offers that were too good to refuse.

So we actually make very little money off KZread, to give you an insight each podcast episode makes about $5 and the Boot Wizard channel makes around $200 a month. Which obviously doesn't even cover the cost of 1 boot. So as Andrew mentioned I work full time outside of Boot Wizard and fit Boot Wizard in where I can, it's why I don't make as many videos as for example SR4U or Noah. In terms of what I buy, I also kind of get dictated to by the market, if it's popular I'll probably make a video on it because obviously that drives views, but then I'll also pick up boots that I really want to try that might be less popular, the Asics DS Light X Fly 5 SE for example, I don't expect huge views but it's a boot I really wanted to try. So essentially the above is why there is so much to be sold.

Seeing the Alphas shown off and wanting to try Mizuno alphas. Do you think it’s worth getting them now or waiting to the next generation? I know there are slight differences in the thickness but are the elite pretty much the same as MIJ version just made in a different location?

i have a pair of mizuno alpha elite AGs and they are fantastic. i have reasonably wide feet and they fit really well. feel much softer than f50s for example and have really solid traction on AG. i havent felt the MIJ ones but i assume the materials are the same

Crazyfast+ and speedflow are very different boots and I would always pick the speedflow. In terms of against the Vapor, I feel like that's probably going to come down to personal preference.

Managed to get a pair of the AG - went same size as the new Predator Elite with tongue, they fit length wise but feel a little snug compared to the preds, do they soften or worth returning for half a size upper? Wore a 10.5 in the speed flow, but 10 in the portal thanks!

That's a good question because I don't have the same experience as you pretty much with any of those boots 😂. The best advice I can give you is that there is some stretch in the upper but not a huge amount and I'd definitely wear them around the house and see how you feel. I have a feeling that half up will end up being very long. But totally up to how you feel.

We probably do get a bit too nostalgic, but I'll say I know a lot of guys still playing in OG preds that are 20 years old or nearing that age. Respect for taking a stand for true red lol. The Japan colorway was the one I was waiting for, so eager to finally play in the new preds. Either of you care to take a stab at why Adi intentionally won't use red on anything where it's so obvious they should?

Adidas are probably thinking it's about being more modern, so they changed up the red, pulls it in line with their general 2024 aesthetic. I know plenty playing in OG preds too, I just think if they were released today, no nostalgia anything like that they wouldn't be accepted, something like the mania I mean..

if you guys are still taking questions, I do have one about breaking-in boots. Since i have very wide feet, most times any true to size boots will end up having some space at the end of the toe box as I couldn't squeeze my fat foot comfortably through the mid-foot such as the GX 2. So would it get better eventually when the boots is broken-in and thus less space at the end of the toe box? I hate the extra space but I have to accommodate my wide feet!

Hi which one is worth between adidas x crazyfast + and nike mercurial vapor14. In same price. Adidas x crazyfast+ good like x speedflow or not?
Crazyfast+ and speedflow are very different boots and I would always pick the speedflow. In terms of against the Vapor, I feel like that's probably going to come down to personal preference.
Managed to get a pair of the AG - went same size as the new Predator Elite with tongue, they fit length wise but feel a little snug compared to the preds, do they soften or worth returning for half a size upper? Wore a 10.5 in the speed flow, but 10 in the portal thanks!
That's a good question because I don't have the same experience as you pretty much with any of those boots 😂. The best advice I can give you is that there is some stretch in the upper but not a huge amount and I'd definitely wear them around the house and see how you feel. I have a feeling that half up will end up being very long. But totally up to how you feel.

Update - wore them and despite my initial fear, they were great in a game on 3G, I think I actually prefer them over the Predators, not quite Speedflow levels of comfort but very close.

I got the tiempo legend 10 pro afew days ago amazing boots absolutely no complaints but the toe box was a little tight but I’m sure that will change after afew more sessions

What is the sizing like compared to the mercurial and speedflow? I wear an 8.5 uk in both. Not sure if I saw anything on sizing in the video or missed it!

We probably do get a bit too nostalgic, but I'll say I know a lot of guys still playing in OG preds that are 20 years old or nearing that age. Respect for taking a stand for true red lol. The Japan colorway was the one I was waiting for, so eager to finally play in the new preds. Either of you care to take a stab at why Adi intentionally won't use red on anything where it's so obvious they should?
Adidas are probably thinking it's about being more modern, so they changed up the red, pulls it in line with their general 2024 aesthetic. I know plenty playing in OG preds too, I just think if they were released today, no nostalgia anything like that they wouldn't be accepted, something like the mania I mean..

if you guys are still taking questions, I do have one about breaking-in boots. Since i have very wide feet, most times any true to size boots will end up having some space at the end of the toe box as I couldn't squeeze my fat foot comfortably through the mid-foot such as the GX 2. So would it get better eventually when the boots is broken-in and thus less space at the end of the toe box? I hate the extra space but I have to accommodate my wide feet!
