I just got the lemonade colorway in today. Coming from a K leather Adidas boot, I love the softness and the grippy-ness of these. Just breaking them in around the house today. So far so good.

Yeah, about the break in period. Really like the straight forward phrasing in the video. But you know. A lot of Nike's more recent boots that I have tried all share this, how short or in some cases the lack of a break in time there is. Phantom Venom, GX 1, Vapor 14, and Legend 9, I was good to go out of the box. Vapor 15 and Legend 10 just needed a short session in them. Perhaps it's just my foot, how it's shaped, width and volume. Still Nike gets props from me for how easy their boots are to break in nowadays. At least for me. In the past the Vapor 9, X, 11, 12, 13, Legend 8, and Superfly 4, 5 took over a week to break in and feel game ready for comparison. Only needed one quick wear for the Legend 7 though.

I agree, on the whole the Nike silos have been really good recently in terms of break in time, they're close enough to good to go out of the box. I found the Mercurials took the longest to get going but still not excessive.

I absolutely love these boots! They’re not a Tiempo but they are like a ctr360 which was my favorite boot of all time. Great video!

I’ve been hearing a lot of good things about these lately. A teammate has them and asked him to wear them a couple sessions to give my own opinion about them. They’re very standard. I don’t think they’re uncomfortable but they weren’t the most confortable thing on my feet. The upper does not stretch and mold as leather does. The soleplate is the same so no complaints about that. I know they’re a teammates, but I’ve done that before, and get them brand new and the experience is the same. So, for me, the Tiempo 10 is far if compared to the Tiempo 9, even if you change the name (to CTR) I would think the same. Heavier, water absorbing, and overstretches, but nothing can really top a good K-leather upper.

You're right about it not moulding, that's absolutely one of the downsides of not having k leather, it's not going to do the same thing. I still think it's a great boot, but everyone is going to have different opinions on boots for sure.

That's fair enough, I really like this colourway and I was a big fan of the golden touch as well, but colourways are so subjective, grey does sound like a win though

I always say they’re more of a continuation of the ctr360 rather than the tiempo. The boots cannot be compared to any of the previous tiempos and I say it’s not fair to say “they’re not great.” They’re very much their own thing and I always say to people if you love ctr360 or magista opus 1 or 2(version 2) you’ll love the legend 10

I got the tiempo legend 10 pro afew days ago amazing boots absolutely no complaints but the toe box was a little tight but I’m sure that will change after afew more sessions

Do u feel like there is any stretching at all? I got a pair in my normal size and the length feels perfect but they feel quite tight right out the box around the forefoot. I like a tight fit so just a slight strech in width would make them perfect for me, cheers! Great review btw! :)

They will stretch a little, there's a little elastic type sensation at points but don't expect much.

Great review! I got the Legend 10 Pros, and for some reason the very top of the heel of the boot digs into the back of my ankle, causing discomfort. Any advice?

That is not ideal. A solution I've used before is to tape the ankle to avoid the discomfort until the boot breaks in and is soft enough that it doesn't hurt anymore.

I think the lack of leather/wrong name hurts this tiempo alot more than nike realises. I've tried on the boot and it was nice, nor boot of the year category for me but defo something id consider for my rotation. The problem is thst the boot has no character. When you put it on, it just feels like generic synthetic boot 1.0. which is fine if its a leather boot because you expect that somewhat. But when its a synthetic boot, i dont think it's wrong to expect more and thats where this legend falters for me. Name change would have at least stopped people from talking about its qualities vs a leather boots qualities Imo.

I think some really solid points there. And like you say, comes a lot back to the marketing. Change the name and a lot of the problems go away. I like your take on the issues though.

I’ve tried the new predators on and I love the hypertouch 2.0 upper but i personally dont like grip elements on my boot. Would you say that flytouch+ on the tiempo 10 feels like or is similar to hypertouch?

They are quite different, although you could argue that FlyTouch + is softer and nicer.

Great video as always! While I agree that the naming of this boot is where Nike went wrong, I have to disagree on naming it CTR360 would’ve been any better. I don’t think that name really has any weight to it with kids or current boot wearers. I think coming up with something completely new & different would’ve gotten the hype this boot wanted

Depends how nice your FG is. If you've got really nice FG the AG will work. If not, probably FG all around

I've only briefly used the pure, so limited evidence but I did prefer the Tiempo.

I find it very narrow for my liking... i've been using it for 10+ games but midfoot still gets some hot spot after 30minutes ish. I wish the tongue was a bit more forgiving to give more generous fit.

I had a wide foot and never could wear Nike's growing up. BUT the secret is going 1 - 2 sizes bigger in Nike. Love my tiempo's in K and calf leather ... Not sure I want the pseudo material 😕

Don't get why Nike doesn't use kangaroo leather. Kangaroos are abundant in Australia, they are not farmed but hunted in the wild and need to be shot anyways just like deer in Europe. And if it's about vegetarianism: maybe start with the dozens of leather sneaker models they sell millions of... It's for cutting costs.. isn't it, Nike?

It's a big debate the Kangaroos, should they be shot and killed for leather situation, I'll make a video on it at some point, it's a really huge subject that requires a lot of information to discuss correctly especially when starting to take into account environmental impact as well, plastics and oil vs leather tanning etc, huge huge topic. There might indeed be an element of cost cutting that's for sure, it probably also has something to do with the bill that Oregon looked to pass, banning kangaroo leather being used, I imagine with that being where Nike are headquartered they were anticipating complications that they were trying to get ahead of. It didn't pass, but it might in the future, better to look like you did it for the environment than you were forced to by a law.

i hate these shoes not because its not leather but its just uncomfortable i dont play football in them i play rugby league in them and they just kill my feet sure they comfortable for a bit until you ether stop running or you run in them for a bit and also my small toe just rubbed up against the inside of the shoe and the insole is the only Cushing as below the insole is hard plastic this is why i hate these boots.
