    I think my favorite thing about your videos is that your mower looks like a REAL mower...from the grime and grass under the deck, right down to the bungee cord on the gear shifter! That's a mans mower! Thanks for all the helpful vids Andrew!

    Go home and watch a video on stringing this tool, then get someone to hold the camera and someone to do the instructions, let them do the video, then you smile, film the introduction as though you had just finished restringing, say thanks, smile and say goodbye and thank you. NEVER, ever try to teach anyone about anything. Your incompetence will forever turn any audience to leave whatever subject you were mangling never to return. Again, you should not be allowed to teach any subject to anyone, ever.

    So I have I think the exact same mower. I have replaced everything n I mean everything on it, carb, throttle control cable, spark plug, primer button. Everything, i still can’t get it started. It doesn’t seem to be getting the fuel into the carb to get it started. What else can it be?

    I've got a LT2000 and its dumb because I see this cable had some type of metal loop and the one I have has plastic. They never revised the cable on mine so every replacement cable has plastic and done broke two of them in the last couple years. Im not going to buy any more replacement ones just for the plastic to break. I'd like to rig a loop on the end made of some kind of metal that wont break

  • @mattcasdorph
    @mattcasdorphАй бұрын

    It's interesting how they kinda complicated the routing of the cable on your's. On my LT2000 it just goes up a hole in thw frame and directly up to the lever..

    Thanks so much for this easy-to-follow video. We have had this same mower for 16 years and just today attempted to change the air filter, spark plug, oil and oil filter ourselves instead of having Sears come out to do the work. Your video was a great help and answered a lot of our questions. Oh yeah, we also changed the blades. That took some elbow grease and a few shots of PB Blaster, but we got it done!

    Now my new belt keeps slipping off the pulley. Any suggestions?

  • @syncronisity1
    @syncronisity1Ай бұрын

    You do NOT have to remove the pulley, you simply need to bend the pulley guard (that small piece of bent metal) away from the pulley a little bit (channel locks work great), reinstall the new belt, then straighten the pulley guard.

    Remove the deck, do it right. Clean the deck, check all pullies. Replace as needed. Wire brush or sand off any rust, spray paint areas needed. Put belts on the deck, roll back under the mower, attach belt and reinstall hanger hardware. Sharpen/balance or replace blades. It's not all that bad.

    I’m doing mine tomorrow. I’ll try it your way first because most of the other videos I’ve been watching start by taking the deck off which is quite a bit of disassembly. I’d rather avoid that if possible.
