I have this same mower, it’s running at a very high rpm all of a sudden but I never messed with the governor. Cleaned the carb and replaced the spark plug and air filter, and other cause of what this may be?

Thanks bro I just sat down next to my mower and decided to look on here, good stuff. Dang ethanol gas, do you use non ethanol or treat reg85?

You are so welcome! Unfortunately, the gas station near me doesn't have non-ethanol so I just use the reg85.

Hey amazing btw but I had a question so when the gas is turn on the mower the gas leaks out of the bottom right of the air filter box. Have any idea what could cause that ??

Is it actually coming from the box? You may need to look at the fuel line connection again

First time I cleaned my carburetor i put the first gasket (the thin black piece that falls off in this video) on backwards and it caused that same problem, completely soaked the air filter with gas and ruined it. Flipped it around and no more gas leakage

Any tips for a stripped pilot screw?

They over tighten screws at the factory. A replacement carb kit on Amazon is $36.
