I've always found that this channel is the best in so many ways! I cannot thank you enough for the accuracy with which you endeavour to convey your narration, the best representation of facts, how measured and reasonable you are in dealing with the controversial parts of history and how informative you are, kudos! Long may it continue.

You should cover the Hopi and Mound builder civilizations or North America. I think the other culture/civilization that covered, geographically speaking, was the Aztec. But that was in Mexico not present-day United States. There are many native American societies that died out before the Europeans that are worth examining.

@@sandorrabe5745 It's because of people like you Christianity became joke. Learn that Bible is not historical book and you should always treat it with big grain of salt. It says more about authors belived than what truly happened. Bible tells much about culture of judaism and Christianity, but it is incredible inaccurate source of anything historical.

Twenty-eight people were executed. These included Pebekkamen, Mastesuria, Panhayboni, Panouk, Pentua, and Pairy, in addition to other harem officials, scribes, and army officials. Some, such as Pentawer, were allowed to take their own lives. Four, including the two judges and the captain of the police, had their ears and noses cut off for cavorting with the accused women. The punishment of Queen Tiye is not recorded.

This documentary has some bad information, the Bent Pyramid was most likely intentional, the final result was the geometry they were going for and it is rooted in sacred geometry, the geometry of hexagons and pentagons There is also no evidence that Sneferu was burried in the Red Pyramid

3:10:00 I have long felt that Egypt’s successful defense against the Sea Peoples is one of the all time great triumphs of policy and cultural ethos uniting in a well-functioning government. The Pharaoh’s responsibility is to preserve peace for his people, and R3 did just that, without shirking responsibility. All the other kings and leaders of the era failed to meet the threat, and their common people suffered profoundly for it. No matter how leaders are chosen, if they fail to take the responsibility gravely serious, the consequences can be unimaginable. I so dearly wish more of our current political elite around the world treated their roles with gravitas. So many seem to think there are no real consequences for policy beyond who makes a little more or a little less profit.

I don't understand why or how some people compare the "New" History Channel ilk such as Ancient Aliens adorned with Big Foot(s), the (j)Oak Island, Anything but Reality, etc... to THIS? When the book releases will the pages be pre"dog eared"? Time travel is "True", I conclude this based on observation, if an Ancient was watching "Me" they must hypothetically surmise that "History Repeats Itself" based on my ravenous consumption of your latest version!👍

2.3 million stones in 23 years? That's 100,000 stones per year, or 274 stones per day. Nah, I don't buy it.

When you have 10,000 workers at your disposal you can achieve this quite easily. Teams of ten men each would work in a continuous flow to bring one stone each from the nearby quarry to its place on the construction site, and then go back to the beginning and start it all over again. So a hundred teams do that journey three times a day, and it's no problem - that's with only 1,000 men. If you're falling behind, just put 2,000 or 3,000 on the job. The only challenge is keeping the system running smoothly and avoiding bottlenecks - something that the Egyptians excelled at. Transporting the finer limestone from Tura 16km away was more difficult, but there was much less of that, and the same principle of continuous flow would apply.

@@FallofCivilizations you are suggesting they could place a several ton stone, by hand, with precision, every five minutes, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 23 years without interruption. If you include the time it would take to draw up the plans, hire the workers, dig the canals, and maybe even assume they're not doing this in the middle of the night or during bad weather....you could easily be assuming they placed a block every 2 minutes for the actual working hours. Have you never worked in construction? Come on man.

@@someguy710 Like any system that uses a continuous flow, it takes a long time to get the first block into place. But then the second block is right behind it...
