    Do you have any recommendations for someone looking to do comics/webcomics as a majority of their art? I've been around the art scene doing mostly fanwork - and it's been fine. I use procreate already and do a lot of digital painting but I just decided to dip into webcomics because of a recent Tapas contest going on. The problem is, I've been working on a Ipad 7th gen since 2021 and while it was functional for just painting it's not ideal for comics since it only has a 32 gb capacity. I've been struggling with storage, since most my work requires a 300 dpi so they are not small by any means. And some templates that I have for comics dont even want to open because my ipad just doesnt have the capability. :s I've been looking to upgrade my ipad to work more efficiently but 2k is (as you mentioned in this video) just too much. the estimated life span for apple support on my ipad is approaching pretty quickly ( it was released 2019 and the average life span is 5 years) so, I'm getting a bit desperate to find something that works and isn't 2k. I don't even mind 1k. But 2k is just pushing it. Any and all help is appreciated :S and thank you for this video!

    Are there any problems with scaling such as bluryness or artifacts when resizing ? That’s a cool feature

    Hey what is the legality of printing out custom posters of bands with or without their logos? I plan on printing out anime or video game stuff too. Thanks!

    It’s not legal to sell art or prints on projects you don’t own or without permission from the publisher or a license to do so. But many do so at their own risk at about every comicon known to man.

    I was looking on how to make prints and im so happy I clicked on this video! im 17 and Ive been doing some silicone block printing so I figured why not make colored prints. im trying to sell my prints since I can just do them at home and I prefer pencil and paper over digital drawings. I love to experiment with all kinds of art, right now I want to try making prints from paper art and acrylic markers, do you have any advice on how I could print this using best value copy? im not the best at photo shop or technology but I do have a MacBook. great video too!

    Understood! You could also do it like this… put a flyer up in coffee shops, comic shops, art supply stores. OR put out content on Insta or where you can tag the location of the town you’re in. Basically just to get the attention of where it’s likely an artist would be. Try it, it’s fun!

    Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I have a four panel comic strip that's so far 366 pages, I have 16 parts completed and two colored. The dialogue is smart and quirky and the characters are like Garfield meets the Simpsons. I really think this could be made into an animated series possibly but I know nothing about animation. I just draw and add dialogue. Also, I'm not a digital person. The cartoon is drawn in black ink outline with colored pencil inside.

    If I were you I would learn how to use Amazon KDP and self publish volumes there. Choose the 8x10 book option. You will need to do some formatting but then your work will be on a mass marketplace and more easily discoverable. A good start kzread.info/dash/bejne/qZ-uzdKngcLZZ9Y.htmlsi=0aPAbL4wQRfqKnkg

    Pretty sure the pyramids in egypt are a better visual storytelling medium. The authors of the pyramids wanted to get something across: Great kings lived here, who presided over great kingdoms. This is obvious to anyone who sees a pyramid, and they still inspire awe to this day. No other piece of art has been this effective for this long.

  • @DJCoffman
    @DJCoffmanАй бұрын

    And they got that point across through sequential visual art. (Which is basically what comics are) 🤘🏻✏️

So gonna be fun and we'll see if I can pull off that final form you're talking about :)
