I've been going there for 15 years.And you have to watch out for all the hookers that approach you... A good Filipino girl will never approach you first. If they do. They want something like money or whatever, so be careful of that ...and try the banana leaf restaurant in the mall because it's the best damn food in the city.

If you are serious about finding a girl that really likes you for you, then definitely don't go flashing money around. A genuine girl will be concerned you are not spending too much on food or shopping and will even say no when you offer to buy her things. Spend time with the girl first and don't be extravagant, then if she stays she may just be the one. Be especially careful about the ones that quickly mentions her money problems and family needing assistance.

I live in Miami / Southern Florida and nobody here speaks English. Spanish people get preferential treatment over English speakers by vendors. I go to CVS, Costco and gas stations, I'm discriminated because I don't speak Spanish. Spanish people cut the line in front of me and they don't say sorry to me. It's crazy here.

In a 300US$ Villa + 1M piece of land with private pool + gym in Bali with beach front no neighbors (no roosters) for a recording studio. Or in Italy same kind of setup... but hey !!! I love the people here and so much things surpassing what annoys me that i may end up having a nice home near the sea here and an other in vietnam ... who knows ? Its still a young journey this new life. I give myself time ... Oh... and to figure out if I'm gay !!!!! 😂

I think I am fond of you!". ...She wasn't talking about love in the true sense of LOVE, but fondness. I am certain that a second chance meeting would clear things up for both of you. Sometimes, cultural differences can really get in the way but that can really be the nature of the beast! It is certainly worth working at it. I am certain it would have been an excellent match, especially because she is an educated one. She is a great catch, albeit she needs some honing as well, especially in the dating game. For all you know, it's possible you were the first possible boyfriend she was gonna have that's why she was a bit disappointed foreseeing a crash and burn situation was looming. But in the end, she was willing to humble herself in order to possibly do damage control and win you back in... I think you came across one of the truest, not desperate but honest down-to-earth educated Filipinas any man, foreigner or not, could have ever met. Money vs love is silly. That's the same as saying for guys beauty vs love. Females fall in love with providers. Males fall in love with beautiful women. Of course many other things are important too, but provider is the first bar males must pass. Beauty is the first bar females must pass.
