My career as a full time freelance auto journalist for car magazines (6,000 plus magazine articles and 20 books) centers around my three columns, called "Rare Finds," (barn finds) that I began writing monthly since 1991 in 5 different magazines (Hot Rod Mustang, followed by Mustang Monthly), Vette, Muscle Car Review, Mopar Muscle, and most recently Hot Rod Magazine.. I've written over 800 barn find stories, and now dozens on KZread. I encourage viewers to email or call me with leads on car discoveries. I travel in the United States and internationally. If a person owns a barn find, I can help them find a buyer and get their car appraised at its true value for a sale. See how I do this in my latest videos, such as the 1967 Shelby GT-400 barn find in Iowa. My email is [email protected] and number is 806-236-3681.

Very cool video, Jerry. My brother and I test drove a brand new Admiralty Blue 1974 Trans Am at Mike Salta Pontiac in Long Beach, Ca. in 1974. My brother wasn't able to make the finances work, so he ended up not getting it. Glad that Amanda gets to keep her fathers 74. We also wish her luck on her transplant. My now 33 year old daughter had a kidney transplant at Mayo on Christmas Eve, eve in 2016. She was on hemodialysis for about 5 years-as the peritoneal dialysis didn't work. She had a CVC (Central Venous catheter) and for the last two years, we (my wife and I) did the dialysis at home on the NXStage machine-as it's more gentle on the body and especially the heart. Speaking of the heart, my daughter also had a heart transplant in 1990 at the age of 5 1/2 months. That transplant was done at Loma Linda in California. We are grateful to both donors and their families-and we're good friends now with the family who donated the heart to my daughter. My daughter loves car related things and has accompanied me across the US to car shows like MCACN, where she says that she has "many adopted dads" in the car community. Car folks are the best. We wish nothing but the best for Amanda-and if she has any questions about transplantation/side effects of the meds/Mayo Scottsdale-we'd be happy to help. We also live 25 minutes away from Mayo. Let me know. Bruce
Jason, hell of a job! Been very educational watching! Thank you!
Cool video, but, no one gives a shit about the fuc**ng cat! Focus on the barn find.
Thank you so much for doing this for him. I wish we could do my 91 year olds father in laws old chevy diesel pickup for him, but funds are short. It's been in the barn a long time, just waiting for some love ❤️
I got 1970 mack 1 351only wrong engine Windsor
That is someone with stupid money and fell in love with the color of the car and after that just closed his ear flaps about ALL THE THINGS THAT CAR NEEDS. Why bother to bring the expert if you’re not going to pay attention to what he’s saying? It’s a half put together 500KR with a bunch of parts that don’t even match parts that were replaced on the other side, the floors are rusted out and there are waaay too many parts missing or are from other year cars, no brakes and there is going to be frame rust in places where whoever did the body repair left off , pieces to keep water out or the side scoops that are missing half the bolts to hold them on and how about what looks like a leaking rear main seal in the back of the engine which is why there was so much oil on everything from the back of the oil pan to the transmission. If the buyer wants to get this car so that it’s worth something if he wants to sell it will have two choices, find someone that is blind because it’s a pretty blue or he will have to spend more money than he paid for the car to correct the myriad of problems that are wrong with it.
I’m not a Ford guy but I like my Mopars and there is a guy with a utube channel called uncle Tony’s garage and he seemingly knows what and where everything about 60’s through mid 70 Mopars should and should NOT have and he knows all the secrets places to find all the vin numbers and what body style had for any options and where they should be and so on . This Ford guy is the same way and you’re not going to sneak ANYTHING by him if someone is trying to sell anything from a barm find to a so called rotisserie rebuild. It’s too bad that there are not more honest people out there like these guys that someone could hire to go over and through any muscle cars from that era to tell you if the car is legit or if’s a poorly pieced together Frankenstein car with a nice paint job. This guy really knows his stuff and is a joy to watch him work.
"That's what we do, and we're good at it" Love it
Some parents just have the wrong kids 😂
As an old deaf guy, I’d love to see you with ear protection young man.
Thank you for making these videos, I am enjoying every second of it. The explanations are gold!
Something may become mute. In other words, unable to make sounds. When something, usually a point of argument, becomes irrelevant, it becomes MOOT. In other words, the expression is "becomes moot" not "becomes mute". Its not rocket surgery.
elisabeth is quite attractiv……!!!!!
This was one of the best automotive/historical films I've seen on YT a true testament to the man. Yeah boy!
Lol Ford junk!!!!
I've said since day 1 in 2A7X3. The proof is in the prep!! : )
From the barn find episode to this latest one. This series is every bit as great as anything I've watched on the streaming services. Jason thank you for all your indepth explanation each step from disassemble to install. You are a Master Mustang builder in every sense of the word. Anxiously and patiently awaiting the next episode! Mahalo from Hawaii! ❤❤❤
Take it to LAYTON AUTOBODY IN EPHRAIM UTAH, To Robby Layton 👍🏼❤️ He has a KZread Channel
Jason White didn't patch anything like som do he BUILT as well and better than the original. A knowledgeable car artist.
I really feel bad this great guy didn't get a pension.
I watched all 7 videos! Are you going to put one out there on getting the engine installed and finished product? Maybe it’s still in the works. Just wondering 😁
Yes, I have all that. The next part will be painting the exterior, which I am working on now.
Score. 67. SS CAMAROS
Hi do you remember MR NORM dodge in Chicago on grand avenue back in the day
Yes! I believe I met him at a car show.
Was Jason's logo designed by the late great Mark Brodie? It sure looks like his work.
Truly a feel good video.
Love watching you work. Outstanding knowledge, ability and care but PLEASE wear hearing and eye protection when air chiseling.
Is there nothing this guy does not know about these cars.
Its a BU TEE.
Shelby? NOT
Got the toy drill
I see dad was in the 36th infantry division same as my father North Africa Italy France and finally Germany
Awesome video and awesome car 👍
That kid has no business owning that car he doesn't even know what drill bits mean he brings a 1 inch drill bit I'll hear drill rivet out with this.... idiot
You good with that she asked her son hell he hasn't touched that car in 20 years yeah I think he'd be okay with drilling out one rivet
Need to fix that air leak man
I just can't c building a car with that rear-end the dumbest thing I've ever seen 😮
I'll never understand these car hoarders that would rather ruin their property and allow a car to dissolve than sell them. What does having a car with a "I know what I got" attitude as the thing becomes a piece of junk do for them? Dude is NEVER going to do anything to or with these old cars, like the GTO...why in the world keep it as it becomes a rust pile and worthless? Hoarder mentality.
WoW. Get over it Leno
I missed it, how much was the purchase price for it?
You didn't miss it.
Sorry, but I'm gonna bust his chops here! Earlier he stated he wanted to have the door high, W/O the guts in. But here he clearly has the door even on the margin and not high. What's up with that?
The level of expertise and knowledge with these gentlemen restoring this fantastic car is really unprecedented. Knowing absolutely everything about this car and how it is supposed to be and using modern tools and years and years of knowledge is just what the doctor ordered! It’s fascinating watching this restoration. Awesome!!!
Im with him on choice, 67 - or 68
I fell in love with muscle cars in seventies as a kid, and this was one of em. In 17 I came across a 13 Boss with 1800 KMs. Its in my garage and I'm livin the dream. Awesome story, thank you, cheers from Canada :-)
Mad respect for this guy. Any chance he's running for president??
I’m Jon and Kirk’s sister and I’m very excited to see this car come back to life!
My brother in law bought a 68 GT 500 in pristine condition from a longtime Florida resident for 10k back in ‘85 Beautiful machine
Ay updates on this amazing car?
What finally happened with this deal ?
