So confused by the (claimed) photo resolution. If I understand it correctly the 48MP photo is done in the software and the output in that case is only JPG? I checked the RAW files you made available, and they're just 9MP in a 16:9 aspect ratio. What is the max DNG resolution and aspect ratio? It's bad that Dji doesn't clearly put this on their site... I bought my first long ago. I bought another used one a couple years ago. I bought my daughter a used one. I have a useful collection of lenses. I also have a a6400 when i need better video. The a5100 is my absolute favorite. I may eventually add a zve10 as i think that it's the closest available replacement. I mostly use the ttartisan 25/2, with occasional use of the Sigma 18-50, and even the 16-50 kit lens. It still kicks axx in 2024.

You can manually hold the flash upwards and use it as a bounce flash, I did this several times with mine :) There is a mod where you can remove the 4k video time limit and also you can use a powerbank connected to the usb port of the camera and it will work while charging :) I use mine to shoot several hours timelapses. It's a really great little camera!

I have the M6 and you crop with the zoom lens. As this is my third RX I agree with the fragility point. The newer ones are phase detect AF. My main beef with Fuji is only one (23mm?) lens so that was out for traveling (& the inflated cost). Enjoyed your review.

I just bought the M3 as my secondary camera. I'm using a full frame equipment normally on my foto trips but have started cycling and wanted to have a lightweight all-in-one solution. I find the 24 to 70 mm range is sufficient for many situations and the image quality is fine. The camera has a decent evf, and is easy to use. It does of course not provide the "mechanical" haptic feel of my Nikon D750 with its huge optical viewfinder, but it does allow you to manual focus quite well and it offers just enough haptic manual control.

If you need a more recent Sony RX100 camera, I would suggest a -5a(35mm-equiv 24-70mm) or a -7(35mm-equiv 24-200mm). I have worn out a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 and a Canon Powershot S100. I would also get the rubber grip for the rigth side for $15US.

Bros making worth it videos on the mini 4 pro in 2024 meanwhile just got the mini 2 se last month and already lost it in the middle of a lake never to be seen ever agian. Now if I spent close to a $1000 or more would of been even more pissed. Atleast the mini 2 se is less then half the price then the 4 pro so went a bought a brand new one the next day. This time got dji care refresh unlike the first one. If I crashed anything more expensive never would be getting a new one for a long time.

Yeah my verdict is much the same point you make here. It’s not for everyone, DJI makes too many good cheap drones that are perfectly fine for most people :) sorry to hear about your drone in the bottom of the lake!!!!
