My hands & feet are well kept. Even at the beach I refuse to wear flip-flops I hate flip flops
Some people women or men need to clean & groom they NASTY ASS Feet & hands. Especially at a pool or beach. No one wants to see nasty ass un kept feet & hands.

Thanks for the review which gave a lot of good information. Just the part regardig the mosquito repellent, I don't think we should blame it to easily on the shoes but also need to take a good look at the repellend. I don't know which repellent you have been using but if it contains has DEET .... this is not a harmless ingredient. I once had it in a plastic container and the repellent bottle leaked and it has damaged the plastic container, big time. I am not using it anymore. A good alternative is Thiamine, vitamin B1. It has not been scientifically proven, but this tip was given to me from a tropical doctor and pharmacist and it helps me for more than 25 years.

only vegetable tanned leather will decompose. chrome tanned leather will not, which is majority of all leathers out there

What is the occasion to wear a sport coat? It is for movies, sport events excluding horse races, a night in town, etc...? Anything but jeans, sweat pants, shirts with labelling, and hoodies.
If you have a gray sport is it best to have black pants.
At the end of the day the cow meat become food and the leather becomes clothes, bags, furniture covering etc. wth is vegan leather constantly produced and filling up the world for? Just to counter leather for vanity.

My qualm is being charged the same for fake leather as real leather. Leather shoes last way longer and wear better. So that way it works out better in the long term. Also the feet stink. In SA we do have local tanneries where you can get skin for cows that have already been slaughtered and use that as material. I think we should rather just create a material that may not be leather but can decompose. That would be cool. But for now try your best 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
How does one these compare to mesh sketchers? Seems like you can get 3 sketchers for one of these! Any feedback please.

Yeah... I'm 100% against animal cruelty... I'd rather use vegan leather made NOT out of polyurethane, but out of actual vegan materials like pineapple or other fruit rinds.
I mostly have suit jackets that have cool patterns and weaves (glen check, houndstooth, Birdseye and shark skin mostly) and just wear them like sport coats
Leather is a natural by-product of the meat industry. Leather good manufacturers are the reason the hides of various animals are not piled into huge waste which would be burned and effect the environment. We create beautiful products with hides - which makes the leather products sustainable. In the process we help in circular fashion. On the other hand "Vegan Leather" is actually plastic which will never be as sustainable as Genuine Leather. Using PU and calling it Vegan Leather just effects the image of Genuine Leather Products. There is no such thing as "Vegan Leather".

Note: anything in nature, and naturally occurring in nature, and has been for millionsof years.. even animals farting (their waist actually helps prevent desertification it is a part of the nitrogen cycle) its safe to say Mother Nature Made it that way for a reason and it's perfectly under control under her watch

Start with one. The beauty of a sport jacket is that it can be combined or used with different outfits. 1 is good 👍🏽

I believe that skinny jeans make your birks look like swim fins. These are shoes you buy for the comfort and quality, not for the " look at me" factor. I wear straight fit with my Boston's....always with socks . Never with clown socks either, black and\ or dark gray socks with my black Boston's. Prefer the smooth leather , considering adding an oiled leather pair. No suede, as they are notorious pet hair magnets.
I bought doc martens in vegan leather thinking it might be better til I learnt about the plastic side, so I came here to see what’s more ethical and environmental of sorts

What about "nopal cactus" leather which is made by Desserto? After this superficial review and knowing that pineapple leather is available, you'd still reccommend real leather when your message is about the environment? Scratching my head on that one. Dig deeper and come out with a part two.

I'm looking at a pair of used Frye boots and I am seriously thinking of pulling the trigger. I am surprised you didn't include Western Boots(I consider that Western is derivative of Cowboy Boots) and Bike Harness(although this is really a variant on an Engineer Boot)boots.
I couldn't include all types of boots. But I do love cowboy boots. Frye boots are great all around. What are looking to get out of them? All day wear or more as a work boot?

If I am doing manual and/or heavy physical labor or in wet, muddy conditions then I will wear a more construction oriented both similar to the Moccasin sole type. If I am in extreme conditions like a flooded basement or deep snow-rubber wellingtons. If I am walking long distances; a hiking boot although I discovered that Ropers can be worn for any activity that a work boot is suitable for doing. Ah, now the western styles: depending on the type of sole; they are good for autumn strolls or damp weather where one is not stepping into deep puddles or when I just want to look stylish(my own personal sense of style). Point is; I like ALL types of boots. I don't just stick to one type or style which is one(among several)reason's l like your KZread Channel.
Plastic (AKA vegan leather) is largely responsible for our dying oceans, since it NEVER bidegrades and cannot become a natural substance of any kind, becoming instead nano-particles of a manufactured petroleum product that will poison our most basic ecological systems. Leather comes from animals and, if you buy vintage thrifted leathers, you are not directly responsible for the production pollutants that the leather process can generate since you are merely prolonging the life of an existing item with your purchase. Buying a thrifted leather item in good shape is a best practice of slow fashion since the item has probably already been here for 30+ years at the point of you becoming it's owner and you will still most likely get a lifetime of use out of your second-hand real leather item yourself. The older leather products can usually be very successfully repaired as well which becomes another perk. This makes vintage leathers a win-win for sustainabilty and anti-consumerism which are both necessary practices if we are going to preserve our planet.
