It starts as it always does… You meet the perfect queen, and then you start hanging out together. She likes talking with you, she is laughing at your jokes, and you think that she might be into you. Time goes by and you’re still only friends. Finally, you decide that it’s now or never. You reveal your feelings. Then she hits you with: “I love you as a FRIEND”
Well! Friendship is great, but that is NOT what you want from this girl you can’t stop thinking about! The good news is that you already identified your position and now we just need to do some changes to get you OUT of the friend zone
First of all, DON’T PANIC, DON’T BEG You might want to keep your distance, but still be a friend, don’t be an a$$hole! Do NOT ghost her, which is not very moxie of you.
- Hang out with other people; show her you know how to have a good time without her, not like dating but just as a casual go out with more friends. A little dose of jealousy never hurt anyone.
- Work on yourself! Learn new hobbies, start working out, I mean OWN IT!
And if after all of this, she still wants to be just friends, then be honest with your feelings and respect her decision, It’s nobody’s fault. Women have their own preferences, and most of the times a woman’s idea of the ‘perfect man’ is surprising even to her closest friends! At the end of the day all you can do is, to be honest with your feelings, respect her and if it is the case let her go, there is plenty of fish on the sea.
