This is fantastic, Ms. Bedi! Thank you. I took many notes!
Good to meet a note taker! 🙌🏼 Hope you succeed in implementing it effortlessly soon! 😊
For last one month i have been trying to improve my tonality and voice . I am feeling that your video would be beneficial for me. Thanks for providing such a nice content. keep it up❤
I’m certain the video will address that particular need for a voice fix! 🙌 Glad you found it useful 🙌
Jeez.!!!😯😯 I considered her as a FOREIGNER until she started talking in HINDI..🥹🤩 Anyways, I found the video absolutely helpful. Thanks & Cheers..✌️✨
Haha I do tend to confuse people! I’m also a presenter and had an event in London for Indian delegates last night, whilst on stage talking perfect English I slipped into “Kaise hain aap sab!?” And saw the faces lighten up with disbelief and relief! 😂 I’m glad the video helps! 🙌
Thank you very much! Found this really helpful!
Glad this could help deepen the understanding and the breathing! :)
Why is your channel so underrated damnit, you surely deserve way more attention than this. Thank you very much for the video
Thank you for recognising its merit :) It’s underrated probably because I don’t post that regularly. I’m juggling many hats so try and put something useful out there which isn’t necessarily bound by the algorithm! ☺️
yashvardhan singh rathore from thapar university is in love with you madam .. meet him asap
Thank you for being the messenger! ☺️ This is super sweet! A big hello to Yashvardhan Singh Rathore from Thapar University…let’s meet on my next Insta Live! 🙌
Thank you❤
Love this activity ❤... Looking forward to such activities
Keep at it and see how sharper your responses get 🙌 Will think of some more ☺️
Nice sharing 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks, I hope you benefit from it 🙌🏻
Great advice! 🙌🏼 Sometimes when I speak in a microphone I hear the delayed relay and go blank. Something about hearing my own voice sets me off track. This exercise might useful. Again, great video & great advice!
Aww I know what you mean…I remember freezing at at sound of my own voice anchoring my very first travel episode in Malaysia 17 years ago 😅 Practice makes it better but knowledge to combat it will get you there faster. This activity would surely help so you aren’t awaiting that delay…the mind has something else to do rather than be an observer! :) Always here to help 🙌🏻
I'm experiencing pain at the tip of my tongue while speaking. Could you please suggest some exercises to help correct this issue?
Hi Paras, this is a peculiar issue that isn’t necessarily related to communication skills but perhaps more the speech effort. You may simply be hurt unknowingly in that area, have inflammation or infection, cold sores or putting unnecessary pressure when talking. Worth seeing a doctor to rule out the infection part and then a speech therapist who can address the issue. Don’t take it lightly though, best to act upon it sooner than later. Good luck with it. Let me know what guidance or diagnosis you receive. Take care!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙌
Super cute as always.. love you maam❤❤
Awww big appreciation hug back at you! 🤗
Thank you very much
Thanks for sharing this informvideo.i have a question that psychologist advice not to d multitasking. How it can be done withouy any negative effect.
Hi Sajjad! Thanks for your time on this channel, I’m glad the video helped :) Multitasking is a skill unfortunately not suited to all. For some it’s a talent, for some it’s acquired over time with practice and for some it doesn’t work as it brings added stress. That’s why to keep mental pressure at bay, the psychologists advise to not go down that path. You know yourself best so don’t push it if you feel it’s not for you. I’ve always been multitasking and it works great for me and I know it can be done systematically if one is organised enough and can list priorities on a daily basis. Having a to do list each day helps and ticking it off is satisfaction at its best! I always prioritise tasks, can something wait a few days or must be done today? That takes pressure off if I know I can break the tasks. Doing things much before the deadline keeps the pressure off so rather than leaving it last minute, try and work at it months/weeks in advance. This gives time for any contingencies. I hope this helps?! Let me know if this answers your question and if you feel multitasking is your cup of tea? :)
Thankyou it helped a lot. I believe people are not realizing how much valuable knowledge you're giving away for free. The content you taught here is usually behind a paywall.
Thank you for your valid observation :) Ideally it’s payments that keep us going but sometimes it’s appreciation like yours that keep the motivation up! I’m glad you enjoyed the video! 🙌 I do have a book titled ‘Be Ready for the World’ on communication tips available on Amazon should you wish to dive deeper into confident representation. :)
Plz on CC title in Urdu
Plz on CC title in Urdu
Wonderfull wonderful madam please CC title on in Urdu thanks ❤
Hi! I’ve not done that ever before but will keep it in mind for next time. Thanks for the feedback. :)
Glad I got to see your video! Surprising that, KZread doesn't recommend your video on public speaking tips with top 10 celebrity coaches!!! (subscriber + 1 on here and inst and need to get a copy of your book too). Thanks for the hidden bonus coaching In this video, outside of the main coaching topic, you have shared 'conversational speaking too, it was extremely engaging and I was looking to figure out, how to be better conversation when you speak to camera, to connect and engage. I ended up here, with you another video on 'Diaphragm -based speaking'. after was looking for tips for my Town hall presentations and for making a youtube video.
Arun, I can’t begin to tell you the joy I feel reading such honest impressions. That’s exactly what I set out to do through this channel, my recently published book and even the Tedx talk - to simplify it all! I’m clearly not reinventing the wheel, just stating what I know works given my experience of over 17 years in the speaking industry! Glad to know it’s making sense! I haven’t cracked the KZread algorithm or marketing strategies for my book if I’m honest, therefore these tools don’t get the right due at times … really hoping more people can stumble upon it like you did and benefit from my nuggets of wisdom. Yes pls, get the book on Amazon - ‘Be Ready for the world’ and let me know what you thought of it- either here or on insta:) I’ve just started another handle on it a few days ago called SUPAbility by Supreet Bedi that focuses on all things communication…do follow that too if you can! You never know what you may find handy! 🙌 Best wishes always, Supreet
@@SUPAbilitybySupreetBediThank you for your quick response and additional details, will check out your new channel. Yes, I did read the preview on audible and ordered the book, will share my two cents after finishing. I felt your KZread videos are more conversational than the Tedx talk. It may be more of a personal preference. But, most importantly, you rock and you bring a unique background, new and different perspective from fashion show to presentations to C'Levels and executives in Corporate world. I see you're strength is your special people-person personality, friendliness to connect to people (masses) from Mars (any distance!) and next level comfortable conversational style.
@@ArunMPEdison Thanks for a gracious shower of compliments! Now, it’s only apt that I bring one your way! You write noticeably well Arun :) I’ve enjoyed reading your comments and interacting with you so thank you for taking out the time. Yes, agreed, the two styles of presentation are quite varied when it comes to KZread and Tedx. The first is more casual delivery imitating the anchoring world and the second, given its strict structure and timing, a more declamation style I’d say. Needless to say my heart and thoughts were fully invested in both the styles but one is pure resonance, whilst the other is aimed at quick learning. Keep connected and happy reading. 🙌
@@SUPAbilitybySupreetBediThank you for your kind words, especially when it comes from an expert! Absolutely! make sense to differentiate! Effective communication demands different role plays for the situation, formal, authoritative or conversational.
❤❤❤❤
Wow mam your english is amazing. I have been learning english nicely because of you. Thank you very much.

Thanks sending love from Pakistan 🇵🇰🇵🇰
Thanks Nida, a huge welcome to this channel! 🤗
Pehle to apko boht thank you. But mujhe eik problem hai. Meri voice akele me achi rehti he. Lekin croud or class me nahi nikalti.or mujhe har waqt gale me balgam rehta he. throat se jata he nahi jis se voice khrab ho jati hai. ap mujhe koi solution bata sakti hai. Classroom me boht embarass feel hota hai😢 And ap boht achi hai or easy way me samjhati hai. Thank you
Sorry to hear ki aapko apni speech ko lekar itni embarrassment se guzarna padta hai. But sacchai yeh hai ki yeh pressure aap apne pe khud le rahe hain, judgement ke darr se. Saliva produce hona acchi baat hai, it’s a normal function of our vocal cords to keep them hydrated but agar aap akele mein sahi hote hain aur crowd ke aage excess mucus ya balgum hota hai toh kahin na kahin yeh anxiety ka sign hai, speech defect nahi. Sabse pehle toh aap apna water intake increase karein to keep your vocal area fully hydrated…isse mucus thin hoga aur irritate nahi karega. Breathing pe dhyaan dein jaise video main bataya to breathe from your belly not your chest or shoulders. Salt water gargles bhi help karenge aur steam bhi. Yeh sab throat ko moist rakhne ke liye taaki balgum kam produce ho. Apne paas cough drops rakhein before major speaking to lubricate the vocal cords. But don’t worry too much about log kya kahenge, aap apna confidence lose kar dete hain aur woh speech pe dikhta hai. Pls if you can, get my book from Amazon.in called Be Ready for the World. It will assist in getting over your issues…aapki bahut help hogi I’m sure! Good luck! :)

Good one . Thanks
Glad you liked it! 🙌
Thank you.
You're welcome! ☺️
Ma’am, please be consistent. I m sure, you ll have millions of subscribers soon❤❤you were everybody’s ideal at BSL😊
Hi, nice to know BSL fans still exist! 🫶🏼 Consistency is the aim, but have spent the year writing/publishing a book and now developing a communication training system! My litte boys need mumma’s time too ♥️ and living abroad means addressing house chores without assistance. Anchoring and individual coaching is on too so I guess what I’m saying is, I’m battling heavily with the number of hrs a day! 😅 Hopefully I’ll be able to contribute more in the coming year! 🙌 Thanks for your support! 🤗
Good luck ❤❤❤
My throat still hurts :(
Aww sorry to hear, it’s an indication that you haven’t yet found comfort in using the diaphragm voice. Not to fret, it’s game of practice so pls don’t give up. More importantly, do not get impatient with the exercise. Start with mono syllables, then move on to phrases, short sentences, complex sentences and eventually a paragraph! You are sure to get there if you have succeeded in locating your diaphragm voice which is explained in the first part of the video. Good luck! 🙌
Hello ma'am. I am 19y old, and still my voice seems like 13-14yrs kid. When we speak in real-time, my sounds like good but when I listen my voice in recorded form. I don't like the voice and I always thought that my voice is good but due to bad quality of microphone sound comes bad. #Basically my sounds like slow tone with low pitch. How to improve my voice, as I have to give some speech in mic infront of a 100-200 people and that also for 10-15 min.
Hi Ashish, acknowledging the problem is a fabulous start. The recorded voice you hear is in fact quite true to the voice that everyone else hears when you speak. So, if you aren’t a fan of that then you must strive to make it better for vocal impact! Firstly, try finding your diaphragm and attempting the activity mentioned in the video. Then ensure you use the right tone to match your words. Practice your speech in front of the mirror with expressions and to avoid monotonous delivery, highlight a few words to put emphasis. Keep the volume up and lower the pitch when ending a sentence. Smile, have eye contact and don’t speak too fast. I hope these pointers help you to be a better speaker at your event! Best wishes! 🙌
Superb explanation ❤
Thank you! Glad it makes sense! 😅
Can you make more videos on office etiquette?
Hi! There is a corporate etiquette video on the channel already…not sure if you’ve gone through it? Pls let me know if there is a specific angle you are after and I’ll try and provide some inputs! Thanks! 🙌😊
Please make the video on not speaking monotonous
Hi! Thanks for the topic suggestion, I’ll see what I can do! :) Thank you for stopping by here! 🙌
Thank you for the vlog. I still have a bit of trouble with this, so just to clarify, - so you talk only on the exhale? And does one have to take a deep breath before you say anything?
Hey Eddy, glad you stopped by! Because this is the initial phase of comprehension, one tends to get too conscious of the inhale exhale process, but once mastered, you will find your own convenience and just like you don’t think much about your breathing while talking naturally, you won’t be consciously thinking of diaphragm breathing either, it will come more naturally with practice. But for now, it’s best talk over your exhale. And I recommend taking that subtle breath (inhale) before you start a new sentence. Obviously this is assuming that your sentences are short to begin with, else commas and pauses within a sentence are a great place to take those quick inhales too. Try and read a children’s story book this way to practice as they don’t tend to have long sentence structure. Let me know how you get along! 🙌
I need this lol my voice is so soft, and I need to learn how to project it better.
I’m glad you recognise the importance! 🙌 I’ve recently authored a book that covers vocal impact in great detail and it’s available on Amazon word wide as well as kindle format. Pls grab a copy if you can to unravel a confident representation :) It’s titled “Be Ready for the World” by Supreet Bedi. Happy reading!
Please now these words: Dont worry Schedule Beautiful Practice
