How to pronounce JEWELLERY/JEWEL easily with the help of a secret alphabet! ;)
Presenting my easy spin on the word Jewellery!
Jewel/ Jewellery is a common word used in daily pronunciation but is often mispronounced because of the confusion it creates - is it two syllables or three? When stressing on the phonetic style of JOO- UHL; the pronunciation sounds broken and efforted. Therefore, I came up with a hack for my trainees - for many, English isn’t their first language. By adding the letter Y to the pronunciation; uttering the word became much easier as it just glides off the tongue and is easy to remember! Give it a try with JYOOOLRY! It sounds as it should with this trick! ;) 🙌🏻
