I've been trying to be fluent in English, though I've always been a student of Hindi medium, i really wanted to learn English since high school. I don't have environment, I've created it. I practice by myself, i read aloud books and also speak loudly alone (soliloquy). People think I'm mad, i think they're 😊

I’ve never known anyone from Hindi medium using words like expounded and soliloquy! You are doing fabulously well! You have created your environment successfully and the results are evident! Don’t go by people’s judgement…my father too was a Hindi medium student who brought English to the masses via his effective teachings that led to a full-fledged English training institute with a focus on learning English as a language, as opposed to a subject that schools usually stressed upon. :) He was a visionary who didn’t care much for judgement so go ahead, do your thing as long as it makes you happy and complete! Glad you stopped by! 😊

In fact then you don’t need any added accent, you need to neutralise your existing regional accent which has mother tongue influence (Marathi in your case) Your pronunciation has to be less harsh and more universal which will only happen with practice. Start with pronouncing individual words (hear the correct pronunciation online) and then move on to sentences. Then start reading paragraphs, newspaper articles, books and increase your range slowly. Hope this helps!
