Hi Friends! My name is Bianca Iris. I live in Florida, USA. My channel is a way for me to share creativity and interests, and interact with people from all over the world who share my love of life, beauty, art, Sci-Fi, books, pop-culture, and more. I also color, paint, and crochet as a hobby.
Please subscribe if you enjoy similar interests and lets share. I don't post as often as I would like, due to the fact that in my grown-up time I am a Medical Sonographer working at local hospital and our shifts are 12 to 14 hours long depending on the day/night of the week. It is a lot to recover from sometimes, but when I can create a video to share, I hope you will enjoy relaxing along with me, as I am at the end of the day a silly (but joyful) woman taking all of life with a grain of salt.

I have Myth Match for same reasons and Myth World. The paper in Myth World is fabulous for colouring and did not have bleed thru issues with my water based pens. They also have the jigsaw puzzle for the same Myth series and I think the bestiary book if you are interested. Love your haul. The mixing palette guide looks very useful, I’m going to buy one. The watercolors you swatched are so pigmented; impressive. The spray for the himi gouache should help with preventing mold, too. Thanks for the mention!😊 I recently bought three of Eriy's coloring books; the illustrations are so cute. I look forward to seeing you color the hot air balloon page. I don't have that book yet. As for your SD card corruption, I had that same issue and I discovered that the SD card wasn't compatible with my camera. I bought it from Amazon, and I thought it was compatible, but it wasn't. I filmed using the card for a long time, but then one day, the card said no more. I've learned to use an SD card that works with the camera. Thanks for sharing your goodies; enjoy!!👍🤗🌻

Did you know there’s a 48 set?
Yes, I am aware of the smaller sets; which in my opinion are too overpriced for the quantity and the limited range of colors. So I go the biggest one I could get where I'm at in the world which is the 36.
The 48 set is not available for purchase in my neck of the woods.

Thanks Julie. Oh, I hear you. I'm sometimes hesitant to color in mine, 'cuz I can't replace it if I mess it up. Still, keep an eye out for re-sellers. I got a few out of print and hard to find books on eBay and Mercari from sellers that did not want theirs after they purchased them. Stay safe.
I had to share a bit of news with you. It made me extra sad not having Denyse Klettes mermaid book that after I read your response to me I Googled a used copy of her book and got a hit off of Amazon for a used but very good copy for 7.99 plus 3.99 shipping and I didn't hesitate to purchase it! Yay me! I am feeling like you gave me luck!!

OK. I am happy to report that I received my book in mint condition with only one page colored in!!! I am so happy. I got lucky!!! Only the big whale page was partially colored. I am overjoyed.

I hate swatching! I wish I knew someone who I could pay to do my swatches for me! LOL! I got Prismas first and I swatched them, but then I got Polychromos, alcohol markers, paint pens, gel pens, watercolor paint, etc and I haven't swatched anything except for the Prismas! I even cut strips of paper and made it look nice and neat, but after swatching 150 Prismas I was like, yea this isn't for me! I also have the full set of KingArt gel sticks and I love that you don't have to activate them with water. I learned from K (Colouring with K) that you can scribble with the gel sticks on a palette and pick it up with those blending brushes, and apply it to your page that way. K did a page with a lion in Rita Berman's Afrika book and she used that method with the KingArt gel sticks for the background. You can do that with Gelatos too. But you definitely have to put a sheet of wax paper so it doesn't transfer to the other page. I'm not sure if you can you a spray fixative on them or not, but you should be able to if you do activate them.
Thanks for the tips Nicole! I have a few spray fixatives, but I'm not liking the results with those. Maybe it's a matter of the brands I'm using or maybe my 'spaying' technique. I have to do more research. If I find one that really works for me, I'll share. Hope you have a great week. Again, stay safe.
@@BiancaIris33 Oh you're welcome hun! I have some workable fixative spray but I've always been too afraid to use it so I just slap a sheet of wax paper or printer paper in between the pages lol! I love the Mythographic books too! Especially the ones by Joseph Catimbang! I have every Mythographic book that has been released and I also have the next 3 or 4 new ones coming up that haven't been released yet already pre-ordered! I checked Amazon and it says that tomorrow I get Joseph's new one called Wild Summer! He posted a flip through of the whole book on his KZread channel a couple days ago and I cannot wait to get my hands on it! But I totally understand about having all those books and so many have never been colored in! I'd say that most of my Mythographic books haven't been colored in YET! I'm a home school mom so my free time is mostly in the summer and I plan to dig in to this stack of books that I have that haven't been colored in yet! Thanks for sharing!
