Did you really have to use a half inch breaker bar and grabbing it at the end to turn the motor over?I’ve never heard of the spring company. Are you Springs from overseas? Did you have them checked before you installed them? The only job that the ratchet mechanism you ground the three teeth off does it hold tension on the chains with the engine off. Oil pressure is what puts pressure on the tensioners. The only way to drop the tension is to drop oil pressure.I’d be more concerned about keeping the bearings in the bottom end than wearing out the guides

Idk if you’re familiar with Richard Holdener or not, but he has some dyno vids of pre PI bottom ends with ported and cammed PI top ends that make over 400hp N/A. Pretty close to what early stock coyote’s were making. I’ve personally saw early 4.6 4 valves go fairly deep into the 5’s 1/8 mile with forged bottom and a turbo. There’s a lot of potential in these little engines.

nice stuff to tinker with that isn't the... tiller case on the tractor? that some Columbian put a pot metal bearing in... now it's a 4 inch ford with a 14 time higher load ratting. 4k in bills that can just pop up... keep the spare parts floating around? "recycled 8.8 because I.R.S."

if you turn up the stock 4.6, it should hold 630lbft to 850lbft and slowly bend the rods if the oil is to thin "film strength of the oil over bearing surface is a calculation that if wrong will cause drag and bend the rods... upper end of the same power the 5.0 4valves make, they likely have the same stock rods" stock 4.6 can do that 700hp pass same as a stock LS3. just don't over rev it loosen the rod bolts or put cheap thin oil in it 5w30 to idle 15w40 to work and the 20w60 needs a heater in the pan or it will burn the wrist pins out. 600lbft brakes the rear 8.8 axles, but that's a hard rev N'drop thru first. NA 4.6 only rev N'drop "plowing snow" brakes the 8.8 axles. straight axle swaps take a lot of welding, the 2011 AAM1150's have a worm gear locker in them and are very cheap but that's 100 to 150 pounds of welding and 2 weeks of full time to it. i got one of those full floaters with the 1_5/8 inner shafts for $240 but they go up to $600. the install time is where the bill shows up... shorten them then its fitting etc. only need a straight edge level to weld a 1/2 wall pipe straight. the added rear weight hooks up better

My wife has a '08 GXP 5-speed . It needed wheels and tires. I urged her to get the OZ Ultraleggera 18x9 ET55 wheels and 275/35-18 but she said that was too expensive and bought some heavy wheels and Riken Raptors in the stock size . The car corners well and has enough power to make her happy. The interior is cheap, things break. Ergonomics is poor, storage is nil. My wife keeps her cigs between the gauges. It's not a good car to drive daily but once you've forgiven it's shortcomings, it's a blast to drive.

Great system, I know the boss amps work, I've been there unfortunately they all do way under what they are rated to do, so a 1200w from boss may only be a 250 to 400w amp. I'd suggest the recoil red1800.5 it's a 5 channel amp that actually does rated power, it will power your subs and all 4 door speakers very easily 140Wx4 1280Wx1 at 14.4 and it comes with a bass knob and clip light it's an amazing amp for $170 to power everything you don't have to use all of the power it has but you always have it if you need it and they sound great you can't beat their value
