Nice one mush 👌👍 As you walked through the grave yard you passed the "Tipton slasher" (William perry) grave old boxer 👍
Great to see you back again
Another great video, brilliant. So much detailed information
I wondered what that house was about at the side of St John’s. Always used to creep me out a bit.

Great video, thanks for sharing.
Great video! And to think it was originally established in 1750 as a "nail manufacturer. ".. crazy. "Nice documentation & important"
appreciated mate and yes needs saving
Brilliant house I live 2 seconds from there been there many a time 12 months ago it was burnt out a lad died in there on drugs not so long back fascinating place it'll be a shame to knock it down apparently the lady who lived there is buried in st John's graveyard the one you walked through
Great video mate
Love this, it’s so exciting!!! And I love the side by side map, have spent many hours exploring and researching on there just for fun😅 I only scratch around near the surface coz I go by myself and have to walk or get the train but I’ve found some really cool stuff and close to home in a big town, so anyone wanting to do this but can’t dig, you can still find things!
My old stomping ground. James Whale was born near by. Used to go into that graveyard on Halloweens when very young, was a bit different up there back then.
its sad to see the church, someone said it is being restored, it takes two people to run a church a vicar and a verger and maybe a few of the church goers. its a huge shame im not a church user, but i do like many appreciate the amazing buildings. I feel it will be re-purposed before long. very sad.
Yea, it was better kept by a better generation of people.
Loved the James Whale mention need to promote his week loud and proud 👍👍
This was a straw rope works and still manufactured rope in the 1980's. I remember the house well as it was owned by the family. Such a shame to see what it has become now
Thankyou for the info. That makes sense now. malthouse then straw rope works the rope on the machine felt very straw like. yed it breaks my heart to see historic buildingd being neglected. i hope this video goes some way to bringing it to the attention of people who can help save it, for future generations.
Them bay bad big bay windoo's bin um! Destined to become 50 Social housing bedsits with occupants who have zero connection to our history and culture, but that's all part of the plan, to erode and divide...
I ❤your passion for the Black Country Matey. We'll have to meet up but we're luddites and don't have Facebook only email 😂❤

Fantastic research and story! Well done, thanks for doing this!
Good vid but nothing we dont already know from the real Documentary?
Spencer100% liar 👍
I visited there earlier, but I didn't venture inside as I was on my own. Climbing back up that embankment was super scary. All credit to yourself for good find and great video with history narrative, 👍 top man 👌
The sound often cuts out on this from the beginning, then again around #4.43 ?
copyright issues sorry , i have been working on sound. being a one operation its a huge learning curb
It's great that low town is remembered,. My dad was brought up in Holly Hall, and back in the 40s, early 50s,when dad was a kid, Low Town was considered a rough dangerous place where even police were reluctant to go. Him and my uncle used to go fishing on the Fens Pool, and sometimes the local youths would shoot at them with air rifles. Dad had to take his own air rifle, to shoot back. The local gang shot my uncle in the knee at close range, and he had the pellet in his knee till the day he died at 83 years old
I remember the council digging the coffins up back in the 60s I worked opposite the grave yard at Greys department store 😊
Great tips ! I'm new to this hobby and found a lovely dump using the National Libraries of Scotland site, an abandoned brick works that is covered with late 1800s and early 1900's just on the surface.
THat circle with two pieces coming off is for stair rod to hold carpet
thanks mate yes i see it now
Rip to the young boy carl
Hi BCHH, I just spotted your KZread piece on the Carl Bridgewater murder - a very good and interesting piece. My name is Simon Golding and I wrote the book, ‘Scapegoat for Murder: The Truth About the Killing of Carl Bridgewater’ (DB Publishing - JMD Media - June 2016), which the Channel 4 documentary was based on - ‘Interview with a Murderer’ - made by Monster Films for ITN Productions. I worked for 6 months on the documentary. Although Spencer claimed it was his book - it was my work and he did not receive a penny from it OR the documentary. I have an updated book coming out at the end of this year - which Spencer appears very concerned about. I have new evidence from my book and some new evidence which came forward from the documentary. I was also approached by a world-leading lie-detector test company based in the UK. They were happy to pay for all his expenses to test Bert Spencer - Spencer refused. If you want to have a chat or contact me via email/mobile - please let me know - I have emailed you. Kind regards Simon Golding
Amazing video, look forward to more
I really think the state of Dudley town centre is due to the indifference of the locals. They all flock to Merry Hell Centre but that’s now suffering due to Covid. Think the council has abandoned Dudley and now think of Stourbridge as their only hope. And now the Dudley Museum is closed and will deteriorate quickly if empty.
I went there when Dodman was headmaster it was a Grammar school Sad to see what has happened to it
7:08-little Annie doesn’t look that “little “ on the back of that bus 😂👍
Cheers J very interesting 👍👍

used to play in there in the 90s, back then the door was just bricked up and we'd just knock out the new red bricks, in the last room at the top of the collapse we used to be able to see tiny beams of light coming through above, few of us would get brave and try removing a little of spoil believing if we could get through there would be more rooms, but we'd always shit ourselves and give up thinking we going to get buried alive
