My issue is that I need the combo port to function as a stereo Line in so I can send stereo audio to the laptop for Recording in OBS. This may not be posible, so I might need a digital interface

It is amazing if the history is true. If the history is a lie it is just some "dude" with too much time.

a "keystone" isn't needed for any arch. 'they' blinded you with science. Each joint can parallel the adjoining joint, no keystone needed.

That 1880 building in Chicago was typical of the era- the facade was load bearing, there was no steel frame inside with the facade being a curtain wall supported by the steel like modern construction. Those arches and columns would have been structural and decorative, the reason why the non arch windows could be straight across the top is the window span is only about 4 feet and there's no load above- just open windows. They used a lintel, and also usually embedded a thick steel angle across the opening inside the brickwork. RD Wolff, Author of "The Gargoyler of Greenwich Village"

Is there even any evidence that an arming sword was combined with a heater shield in any serious military capacity? A quick search online yields “no” as the answer, but you likely have better sources. All I see are examples of arming sword (or any similar style) used with buckler, or a round shield, but never a heater shield. Probably for exactly the reason you give.

Missed the step where the brave geotechnical engineer is lowered into the 3 ft wide caisson to check the bottom to confirm the condition of the bedrock and insure correct socketing takes place when the cage is lowered and concrete poured. Perhaps that is done remotely today.

a keystone is not necessary to make the arch work. it's the shape of the vertically mirrored hanging chain test that makes it work or not.

amazing explanation! I am taking history class, obviously my professor only explain how the stones are directly force down with the pressure of the surrounding and how it will stay in place once the pressure around it is set but did not explain how they make it stay in the first place. As a student whose English is not the first language would very much needs little more details on it to better understand it right. Thank you for explaining how they use the wood as a temporary support otherwise i would go on with my head questioning "how" the whole class.
