    Nice video Derek. Could I ask you to put chapters on your videos, It would be helpful for prospective buyers. Also it would be great if you could start the video with the stats. Price, battery size, range and then go into the first impressions bit. Regards

    Please stop spreading that bullshit about how a gokarty the car feels like. Have you ever driven gokart? Main differences - gokart has no suspension, no rear diff, and is RWD only!!!! While this elektric vehicle is FWD. You will never make a fwd car with rwd car handling qualities and vice versa. Go kart weights up to 100kilos, that's 16 time less then then your car. Go kart has atmosferic ICE, while Mini is electric, or has turbo charged engine. Go kart drives like nothing else of this planet, so please STOP!

    3:50 that fiddle to just turn it off.. purion was simple. Click the power button, it's off. Purion was perfect. Just enough info, and no more. KISS principle.

    No stalks no thank you. Ridiculous and not practical. The steering wheel isn't always in the upright position when needing to indicate hence the need for independant stalks. Its dangerous this new way.

    So i can buy a 52v 20ah lithium battery for £308 or pay yamaha for a 50.4v 19.2ah battery for £1148. That probably has the same battery inside

    I can see some current owners of Hyundai Tucsons who liked the two screen layout in the Tucson before they ruined it with the revamp going for this if they can afford it and are thinking going electric. So expect a lot of second hand Tucsons outside Ford dealers lol.

    Sat in the one at the Everything Electric show London and was quite impressed. A nice looking thing. It is a shame about the touchable VW bits and shiny black plastic but I think the overall design is good. So long as it is priced properly it will sell well but will wait to see.

    @@NevoEVReviewIreland issue was on start of video. Every advert was 30 seconds followed by another all unskipable. I watch for pleasure, not for torture.

    Get an ad blocker if you do not like the adverts or get You-Tube Premium I here there is no adds on that. I never even noticed them. It's normally one add you can not skip and then you can skip the next one after so many seconds.

    No blind on these now standard Tesla copy glasshouse roofs is a big issue... I've a blind on my Ioniq 5 and rarely have it open as it heats the interior too much 🥵

    It’s hilarious. Everyone complains about the price In the comments. Have you cross shipped the bmw IX. Audi etron q8, Porsche taycan. All of those are way more money than this. So no. It’s not to expensive. Seems like most people need better jobs

    Considering that people are generally getting taller, whoever designed this needs to be fired. BMW have messed this up completely with no headroom in the rear.

    19 week delivery time is silly carry on I do think it looks cool No carpet in the doors as somebody who always carries a chillys bottle irritates as it will constantly rattle

    Thank you for must have a sweaty review. I had a small Ford dealership more than two decades ago, so I respect the brand. I think they have done what Ford is good at which is getting the spec good enough for the rest of us. What I am unsure about is whether they have the price points right today.

    I just drove a Seres 5 today, and I didn’t like the electronically adjusted air vents. No matter how I adjusted them, I was too cold around my neck, even at 23 degrees Celsius and everything is run through the bloody iPad. This looks way better with manual buttons and vents, but range is 100km too short and the charging at 60kW is just not good enough. Anyone know if it’s LFP battery as the Seres 5?

    Nice review Derek. Are VW building these for Ford or just suppling components, I do think it looks better than the ID4 but they should have changed the haptic buttons and window controls. Select, RWD 77kWh Extended range €43,591 and Premium, RWD, Extended Range €48,006 both with 19 week delivery time.

    Thanks for the review Derek. This has been on my watch list for a while. The fact it's smaller than an id4 is a slight issue for me with 2 kids. Do you know if the thigh extenders are standard or a possible extra? I'm 6'4 and I always appreciate the extra leg support on longer journeys. Cheers

    @@NevoEVReviewIreland thanks Derek. I actually went on the ford site to build my car out of curiosity. Started off OK until you start adding heat pump, etc. It quickly starts to shoot up over 50k and will most likely be out of budget for a lot of people which is a shame but I suppose it's the times we live in. The government just don't incentivise EV's enough to encourage people to make the switch. The depreciation doesn't help either mind you...

    This car is the best car I've ever owned. (I went and got the performance model). Absolutely love driving it. Insanely quick, looks great, feels great. More physically equipped cabin than the Model 3. It does need better software for the self-driving capabilities but coming from a 2012 sports car, I prefer to drive anyway.

    The margin between a larger hatchback and a small SUV is getting very small. I like this one, it's not going to set my heart racing but I like the curves. I much prefer this type of styling to the sharp, angular style eg Ionic 5. I'm not keen on the inside, might be better if it comes in a black or grey interior trim.

    this brand should be avoided. this was the Seres iX3 in China, which sold badly and was discontinued. now they're trying to flog these sub-standard EVs elsewhere. i really like Chinese EVs, but this ain't it.
