My name is Ali. I live with my husband, Paul and our four children. We live in Utah and love living here! My oldest went off to college recently, so it is really strange that my kids are starting to leave! I can't believe I am already here at this stage of my life. I'm loving it, though.

I miss having a big kitchen. Mine is the size of your sink and your prep area but it's all I need right now. When I lived in the states my kitchen set up was a lot like yours.
If it’s all you need, it’s perfect. ❤️
The last 2 kitchen remodels I've done have open shelves above and closed cabinets below. All daily plates, bowls, glasses and coffee mugs are so easy to reach and return from the dishwasher. Now it's just my husband and I so it's not a lot of stuff and is in constant use so doesn't get dusty. Probably couldn't have done this with young kids!
That would be hard with young kids!

This is my second time watching this video. Your decluttering videos are one of my favorites. I wondered if you could tell us what you did for weight loss?!
Thank you! My dr prescribed me Wegovy for pre-diabetes. Weight loss was a nice result of that.
I try to organize according to zones also and it seems to work pretty well. Our adult daughter has her own home but for one day needed to use our kitchen. I was not home that day and was delighted when she sent me a text telling me that my kitchen was so organized and easy to find things in areas she was going to use them.

Sometimes when I find a space get cluttered again quickly and I am forgetting that I have an overflow in a basket. I get rid of the basket and keep everything in the shelf so I can see it. Just a suggestion.

Ali, I truly believe God helped me find your channel. I am in the same place you were a few years ago. I follow many declutering, cleaning channels, but yours is different. Hearing you express yourself about being tried and stressed and always cleaning is like hearing myself talk. I got so overwhelmed with life events and having to always have a tidy house, it drove me to current be on antidepressant. It's nice to hear I am not alone. This is the first of your videos I watch and can't wait to see more. THANK YOU for being genuine. Thanks to this video, I think I will be okay. Keep doing what you are doing.

Good tips. I have a hard time getting rid of stuff and decluttering. There was a journal called Throw It Away by Guru Notebooks that I liked to use, helped with emotional regulation of getting rid of my stuff.

I do not consider it decluttering when you are just throwing out pcs of paper, which should have been put in the garbage to begin with.

Have you not tried the crevice tool while using the vacuum cleaner to remove the crumbs in the table grooves?
I have, but most of the crumbs are stuck in there. 😊

This was fab. Storage lacks in mine, so I have a three drawer unit and a trolley. Works great but it's only me. Some is for me, some for when others help me (gloves/wipes etc.) Loved the storage solutions and the video ❤

If the bathroom is too small, there's not even room for a trolley. I had a super tiny bathroom in one home, so we added storage to the wall.
@@annw1395 yeah this bathroom doesn’t have room for that. I didn’t quite finish her bathroom. I intend to put shelves above her toilet so she has a place to store extra toilet paper. Plus she needs a towel rack!
