  The food is called "kao kang". Its not curry. Curry is part of "kao kang". It's what people in the city eat for breakfast. Basically a serving of rice with variety of topings. Limitless combinations if you are creative.

  Even although I feel very guilty about it, I am thinking about going to McDonald’s when I’m there in July but only to try the pad krapao out of curiosity…and maybe the corn pie 🫢 I’m surprised you think these places will be gone. I’d have thought the government or councils would know that Bangkok and Thailand as a whole is most famous for the food. It’s surely a very big part of tourism?? So sad if they can’t see that. 😢
