I have that same pedal, man! Not a bad test, as it's definitely a versatile pedal despite some people crapping on it, saying it's not that great. I've yet to get used to it, as I rarely change my sound when it comes to playing songs with my jam partner, but that may change eventually.

I don’t get the hate I’ve had one since the 90s when I played in grunge bands . I would use this pedal as main distortion then the sd1 for really letting it rip . It’s still on my board today

Rob, doubt you’d remember me from back when you originally started making videos on this guitar, but they were the convincing factor on me saving up and buying one back in high school in 2017. Mine has the original rosewood fretboard with the original mustang head decal. It’s put up with so much moving around but still plays like brand new. I’ve used it so much over the years but I can say that I never needed to buy another electric after as this holds up way past its price point. This guitar should be at the top of any beginner’s list of first guitars

I have a 2nd hand 1998 Affinity Squier Strat. It's full-size thickness and a very good guitar. My son has a music degree and is a jazz bass player. He can really make my guitar sing; me, well, not so much. 😅. I really love the idea of shorter scale guitar. I'm in my mid-sixties and find the size and weight of full-size a bit too much, and who needs 5 pickup variations? 😂

I owned a bullet mustang before and I modded it with a toronado Bridge and HS config. Wonderful modding platform! I sold it because in the end I couldn't get on with the skinny 12 inch neck. Just recently I bought a sonic mustang in torino red. The neck on that one is a total different animal. Really comfy and thick! Modded it as well. Proper P90's, black p90 pickguard, proper pots and capacitor, half tele Bridge with brass saddles and tinted the neck with amber nitro. Really happy with it!!

I have one that I bought new in late 2017 and it's my grab and riff away guitar of choice. It's hanging on the wall next to my easy chair in the sunroom. It's covered in stickers now but looked just like this one. I think mine has a rosewood fingerboard though. Are you sure that one isn't rosewood?

I'll retell my story. So, I play since 1979. I had a huge unplugged gap 2006-2016. I thought, I'm through with distortion forever. Then one day I see this Bullet for like a €100 and it's so much lighter than my HH Gibson LP Studio from 1991! I haven't touched the Gibson for 10 years just because of its weight. It's 5 kg, boys! So, I picked the Bullet, changed tuners, bridge bits, pickguard (got a fantastic 3-ply sparkly white from the Scottish dude) and put a pirate logo on the empty space behind the bridge. For 8 years since the day I took up on playing punk again and people listen and being very friendly about me coming back from acoustic instruments to my teenage roots. I'm 59 and a grandad. I got some vital inspiration from this channel and I appreciate your efforts.

Cool little board! A long time ago I started putting tape on the bottom of my pedals before Velcro. Easier to take off if you ever wanna sell them! ;)

@@theguitarmanifesto I don't think I explained that very well. I put tape on the bottom of the pedal as a buffer between the gummy Velcro and pedal surface. It stayed put on the board because there was a Velcro strip on the board. So it was Velcro on Velcro as it should be-it was very snug-no worries. The Velcro is easier to take off of the tape and not mess up the pedal if you sell it. I never bought or sold any pedals with Velcro stuck to them. Some might not care about that detail. But since I've gone digital it's all a non-issue! 🙃

I have a lot of these guitars & basses. Fabulous instruments, as good as any Fender, Gibson etc. I make & fix guitars & I'm not joking. Great to see them being respected at long last.

Cool little board! A long time ago I started putting tape on the bottom of my pedals before Velcro. Easier to take off if you ever wanna sell them! ;)
When you're regularly gigging you need them well stuck down.
@@theguitarmanifesto I don't think I explained that very well. I put tape on the bottom of the pedal as a buffer between the gummy Velcro and pedal surface. It stayed put on the board because there was a Velcro strip on the board. So it was Velcro on Velcro as it should be-it was very snug-no worries. The Velcro is easier to take off of the tape and not mess up the pedal if you sell it. I never bought or sold any pedals with Velcro stuck to them. Some might not care about that detail. But since I've gone digital it's all a non-issue! 🙃
