Cool guitars. I opted to shim the neck on mine. Could have gone either way but I went for it. There was a pathetic small sliver of sandpaper (SANDPAPER!) from the factory serving as a shim. I installed a .5 degree full pocket shim and the world was whole again. Great videos, keep up the good work.

Nice job, I only install shims if needed. Luckily this Mustang setup perfectly, some of these are hit and miss.

@@theguitarmanifesto Mine was so damn close. I only wanted to lower the action by the roughly the same thickness as a D string. Most guys would have left it as-is but as you know it's only 4 bolts. Easy job and the guitar does play better now. These Classic Vibes are amazingly good quality for the money. I tend to be a snob for U.S.-made stuff but the Cort/Squier factory puts out excellent stuff at this price point. Rock on!

Your channel convinced me to get a Classic Vibe Mustang a while ago, which I absolutely love playing. Keep on rocking those offsets! Just curious, what's the measurement for your pickup heights on the bridge and neck?

Awesome. There are no specific measurements making sure the pickups are high enough before the magnet pulls the string. And also the volume levels are balanced out.

Have the same guitar but I'm currently rocking a parchment pearl pickguard on it with black pickup covers. Looks the part but beware if you ever want to change pickguards: the ones on Ali are made for USA mustangs and they won't fit the classic vibe 🤘
