I love my Classic Vibe JM. The G&L tribute Doheny is a great JM style guitar also. But the best bang for the buck for me is the Tagima JM. Brand new less than $300 and the varitone switch gives a tone of tonal options.

I’m so glad you didn’t decide to hang it up. I know you don’t have a huge channel, but you do have faithful followers who really enjoy your content. Your channel convinced me to get a Squier Deluxe Jazzmaster and it plays right up there with my USA Strat. If it had a Fender USA headstock, I wouldn’t question a thing.

Very Cool, Thankyou. Stunning Guitar and Playing as always. Sonic Blue definitely one of my favorite Jazzmaster/Mustang colors. I have an Australian Company Artist Guitars 'Grungemaster' in Sunburst. It is amazing and such an awesome guitar to play. The twin P90 format is amazing giving many tone options. Cheers

Good to see you back! I love JMs, I have the J Mascis JM... in fact I think watching your review of one was part of my purchase decision a couple of years ago. Love it. I hard-tailed mine with a sharper break angle and it plays and sounds more how I like.

I can't wait till I get money so I can try & build myself a double neck version of Kurt's Jagstang which takes the layout of the Cobain Jaguar left side & combine it with a skystang 2 on the right but the only thing I have to figure out is where the electronics other than the control knobs for the mustang would with the output jack & the 2 sets of pickups & bridge/tailpiece

EC inspired me to get a jazzmaster myself, love the sound on his records

just wanted to say i enjoyed that Little jam u did it sounded pleasing to my ears. gave me oasis vibes witch are awesome.

Great guitar Rob very cool indeed, I was interested in the weight as I recently got a US 1996 standard fender stratocaster which is great but is very heavy at around 4kg so are most fender Stratocasters around this weight or just this era if it?, I just thought maybe you might have an idea? Cheers 🎸

They can vary from guitar to guitar, each piece of wood is different. A US strat will have a full thickness body with decent wood so 4kg is probably about right.

Great stuff like always, one note though, all of the classic vibe models come with real bone nuts. The vintage modified had the plastic nuts.

They are advertised as bone by fender, I've mentioned this on many videos before, but I keep getting comments saying they're synthetic bone so I wanted to put it in this video to cause a stir 😀

It's actually the Daphne blue limited edition one that comes with a tortoise pick guard not the Sonic blue that is not one of the limited edition colors. Other than that I think they may be exactly the same. At least that's the case in the US.
